We hosted my sons first birthday party at Guapo’s and wow did they deliver!!! From start to finish Guapo’s was amazing. Communication with Jaydi was easy and prompt. Day of we got there early to decorate and Andrea helped us hang our decorations and organize the space. Thanks to her it looked amazing. The food was delicious and everyone was raving. The staff were kind to the kids and made sure everyone had drinks and food. They gave all the little kids and babies balloons. The space was perfect for a party of 40 or so people. And the price was incredibly reasonable. We are so grateful to Guapo’s for a perfect day. Thank you sooo much, Jaydi, Andrea and Christian! See you soon!

This Mexican spot off Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda was a great surprise. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and first time eating out Mexican food. OMG the food was to die for, the fresh guacamole, with fresh chips was so good. My giant size, mango sangria, who was delicious. Service was great food was great. Only problem I had was parking other than that this is a great spot to visit oh, and I forgot they sang happy birthday to my sister with a big giant sombrero on her head. It was so much fun!!

I was skeptical at first, but they really impressed me. Everything we had was delicious, and the music and decor set the perfect atmosphere. My only note was that the service could’ve been a bit more attentive, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. A must-visit spot!

WOW, what a great place! Loved the thin chips and flavorful salsas. We had the omelette during Sunday brunch, and the steak and chicken fajitas which was a great combo. The guacamole was very fresh. They also had two very spicy sauces, both hot but not crazy hot. And super friendly staff. Will be back with friends and family!

Very good food. I had the Guapo’s Superior and loved every bit of it. One of my daughters had the Shredded Chicken Enchiladas and she said they were good, but a little sweet which she was not expecting. Others had various items and they all enjoyed their dishes.
The service was amazing. We had 1 main waiter but even as other staff walked by, they too asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything and helped clear plates as they saw we were finished with them.
The atmosphere was very pleasant and we felt like family.

This is a solid Mexican joint right in the heart of downtown Bethesda. The vibe is warm and inviting. The bar small but fitted with a few TVs. The margaritas were good and the Mexican beer was cold.
My enchiladas were good, not great. But the green salsa they served with the chips is really special. I’d go back just for that!

Guapo’s is an absolute gem! The food is freaking amazing—every bite full of flavor, and the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite. The prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity you get.
Do yourself a favor and order a frozen margarita—it’s out of this world! Perfectly balanced, icy, and dangerously delicious.
The staff here are all smiles—warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.

We shared the Carne Asada fajitas. The plate did not come out, smoking or sizzling like normal fajitas, but they were still good. We ordered them medium rare. They came out rare. We still enjoyed them. It would’ve been nice to have a steak knife instead of a butter knife. Overall, our meal was good except for the rice. It was hard and not that good.
