Our waitress was absolutely knowledgeable and kind she exceeded expectations. We wish her well with expecting baby boy! The decorations are very eclectic. The drinks here are well made and balanced. We came in at the tail end of happy hours so we placed a order in for Oysters first – which was delightfully fresh and perfect sized. Watch out the horseradish is strong but tastey. Our complementary bread was very plain and butter tasted unsalted. The lamb ordered was cooked to perfection, but my husband’s complaint was only that the sauce is a bit too sweet. The Duck A L’ Orange was slightly dry, and the sides were not impressive. But the Cioppino was the biggest start of the night – it’s not as acidic as tomato dishes tend be, the dish also have a good balence of seafood. The bread that came with this has actually had flavor as well that paired nicely! We finished off with an after dinner drink and expresso shots. Will come back again – but probably just for seafood!

The seafood was amazing! My husband and I ordered the jumbo scallops and they did not disappoint. They have a pastry chef that makes delicious desserts that were definitely meant to be shared.

I am so impressed with Trestles. We went for happy hour and every single dish we ordered was better than the last. The oysters were amazing. The calamari was crispy and the marinara was fantastic. The beef tacos were so flavorful and amazing. The shrimp scampi was hands down the best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had in my life. The filet mignon was delicious and the potatoes were great. We had a sponge raspberry cake from the desert cart that I didn’t think I’d like and I ended up eating every last bite. The service was great. The drinks were great. I’m so glad I found my new favorite date night spot in castle rock!!

Trestle’s is truly a gem in Castle Pines Village! Mimi and Jose are absolutely amazing at what they do — you can feel their passion in every detail. The food is incredible, and knowing it’s a true scratch kitchen makes it even better. Their pastry shop is next level… dangerously good!
I’ve eaten here for breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner, and I have never left unsatisfied. Every meal is consistently delicious and beautifully prepared. I also love when their singer, Sal performs live on the weekends it adds such a fun, welcoming vibe to the experience.
The staff and wait team are always so friendly and attentive, and you can tell the management genuinely cares. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything is top notch!
Thank you, Trestle’s, for always delivering such a wonderful dining experience. We are so lucky to have you in our community!

Trestles was a pleasant enough experience. I had the steak tips omelette and brioche toast. They were both huge and quite delicious. The potatoes not so much, but edible.

We had a very nice dinner here. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic. She was very attentive. Service was fast, even on a Saturday evening. We really enjoyed the calamari. The other seafood we ordered was good, but not great. The oysters were a little runny and the shrimp was slightly undercooked. The scampi sauce was fantastic though! We also enjoyed the key lime pie for dessert.

Happy hour brunch is AMAZING here! The Blackened Ahi Tataki is one of the most DELICIOUS meals I have ever devoured! Definitely one of the best dishes on their menu! I also had a Bloody Mary oyster shooter with pepper vodka which added a whole new layer of flavor. I also had the classic biscuits and gravy, with clam chowder soup! My meal was finished with their Bloody Mary, which was packed with flavor! One of the owners, Mimi, was walking around talking to patrons, even us! It was lovely getting to know her, how Trestles became to be, and why she continues to run Trestles. They have art on their walls for sale from so many artists!
Update 2/2/25 – They have new menus! A lot of their staples and new stuff! Still the same delicious place! Been loving their Avacado Lox for brunch and Oyster shooter!
Update 5/28/25 – I wish their brunch happy hour on Sundays was longer! It Ends at 9:30am! Love their brunch tacos!

Over priced for quality and service.
Our cheese plate looked liked some of the cheese had been sitting out for a bit before it came to us. The scallop app and wedge salad were the best thing of our whole experience, at least those were good because nothing else really was. The carrots that came with 2 of our entrees had brown rotten mushy spots. They brought me the wrong side with my fish entree which they did make right by bringing me the side I ordered after I mentioned it. The cosmo my friend ordered was bitter and way too strong and the lime garnish was old and brown, we joked as to why they would even put it on the glass as it was so obviously brown. The server was weird and being oddly jokey with us, even a bit rude with the jokes. The ambiance is really outdated as well and has bible quotes hanging on the walls. There were mostly elderly people eating here (like 70+), we can’t help but speculate that this is why the quality is lacking. Overall it was a pretty terrible experience and the bill was nearly $500 for 3, we ordered: a cheese plate, 2 apps, a salad, 3 entrees, 2 bottles of the cheaper white wine they had and 2 mixed drinks. We didn’t complain about anything though, besides me mentioning my wrong side and after we left we kinda felt in shock at how bad everything was but we we’re all too much in shock to do anything. But it was an experience as I like to say. Safe to say I don’t recommend eating here.
