Finally had a chance to swing by with my family last night. I’ve seen people talk about Ray’s in a FB pizza enthusiast group and the pics looked great. Being from Massachusetts, I’m always on the lookout for a good pizza, and Ray’s did not disappoint! Great crust, perfect amount of cheese, and the large pizza is huge – the three of us were only able to eat half!
Probably the best part though was that the staff were friendly and welcoming. Their boxes say “where you are treated like family” and they really do live up to that! That and the atmosphere really nails the feeling of an honest, family-run pizza shop in the Northeast. I’ll jump at the chance to go here again!

I’ve been coming to this location since they opened and the owners have never changed.
in over 10 years they made a mistake on just one order. They went above and beyond to make things right. The owner seems to be there every day and is always friendly. It’s a very family oriented restaurant and customer focused.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Love it when staff (3 people!) interact with customers about their Order throughout the wait. Steak special was very good. The restaurant was very clean and organized. 5 star local restaurant

Showed up at this location late night and was welcomed with cheerful and positive greetings. The atmosphere was quiet because it was so late, nonetheless they politely took our order and quickly made it to our specific desire. It was Fantastic. Great food , great workers. Excellent all around.

Like, I just don’t understand how the pizza is this good. The flavor is the best I’ve had ever. How awesome it’s in the neighborhood and how even more awesome its family owned. What a privilege to have this type of establishment here in AZ. Thank you, Ray’s for hands down the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.

Rays pizza on Dear Valley Rd and 83rd is the bomb. This is a family operated eat in or take out and serves beer and wine too. I always have their lasagna the sauce is authentic Italian sauce with olive oil and just the right amount of herbs. I never get acid indigestion like others I’ve eaten. They serve with a full half loaf of garlic bread and a very crisp green salad. And the portion is very generous too. From the moment you walk in you see the owner busting his tail making sure everything is perfect and he will come to your table and make sure you’re happy with the service and food. They really show their appreciation for your business too! They are always very busy and you can see why!

Their pizza is amazing. Wings are crispy, made to order and I love their sauces. However, what stands out the most for me is the service, always top notch. Super friendly staff, acomodating and cordial.
