Wow….a once great sandwich is now the bottom of the barrel!
First I ordered in drive thru.
Classic chicken, apple pie and sweet tea.
The disabled man i had with me also wanted an apple pie but told me once I got up to the window.
“Can you add another apple pie?”
Young Employee “I dont know how to add on to orders”
Me: tapping fingers waiting for solution
Employee : “i guess I’ll ask my manager.” And he was flippant and just irritated
Me in a happy demeanor: “some OJT! I’ll wait, I dont mind”
No training, the manager did it and he learned nothing.
He handed me my tea and a bag.
I cant remember if he said Thanks, have a good day or Later.
I drove the disabled man to Zaxbys.
In the parkinglot I took my order out.
Tea…WOW best sweet tea around
The sandwich…you should be ashamed, I paid for nothing but crunchy batter and a chicken filet about 1/4″ at thickest but so overcooked the meat was yellow dry.

My wife and I went to Popeyes in Goldsboro N.C on Ash Street near Berkeley Boulevard.
The service was horrible. We asked for an 8 piece awe were told to wait for 5 minutes for chicken legs. 5 minutes turned into 15 minutes and when we came back to the counter, the confused young lady who told us to wait couldn’t remember our order and told us they just ran out of legs again and we had to wait again. Unbelievable!!!
The manager didn’t seem to want to solve the issue and was more concerned with setting out sanitation buckets than making sure they had enough chicken. You know, the thing they’re supposed to be committed to selling!! We asked for our money back and then the manager asked us why. This is our second bad experience here and it will be our last. DON’T GO TO THIS STORE, YOU’LL REGRET IT!!

I received the best service that I have ever received from a fast food restaurant. It was even better than the other fast food chicken chains that I will not name. It was easy placing my order. The young lady who took my order was really nice and the guy at the drive-thru window was really nice. And I received my food very quick and the food was excellent. The chicken sandwich was really good and crispy, and the fried pickles were good too. And the chicken sandwich was huge.

Every time I come, I always have to pull up and wait for my food. I decided to try again after two past bad experiences and yet again, it was the same way. I ordered on the app, When I pulled up through the drive-through, They told me to pull up because it wasn’t ready. I waited for 27 minutes then drove back around. It still wasn’t ready. When I parked again, somebody had been sitting there for two minutes and they brought them their food out. The lady was nice and asked me what my order was and then went in, grabbed it and came right back out. After getting home, I realized they didn’t give me one of the orders of chicken that I had. Their phone is also off the hook when you go to call them about it. Food is OK but never again will I go back. Three times is enough.

I did a mobile order yesterday for dinner. By the time I got there and went through the drive through, my order was ready. I genuinely like Popeyes, but this one wasn’t the best. I did the $20 meal with 3 proteins and 2 sides. The chicken tenders were thin, not meaty. The chicken sandwich barely had sauce. The chicken wings were not cooked all the way and still had blood on the inside.

This is my 2nd time visiting this location, both times being great. Wish they kept their Dirty Rice though. Bojangles rice isnt the same as Popeyes was. My chicken, fries turned out great. There couldve been more sauce but it was still good. My strawberry biscuit was somewhat burnt. Other than that the visit was great, the people were friendly and fast and I will return and recommend.

I was highly impressed with the level of customer service I received from the minute I walked in until the time I left. I was greeted upon entering and thanked for my patience while they made my food. The woman that took my order made sure she had everything correct and that she spelled my name right. I’ve had so many people misspell my very common name, so I was surprised someone actually took the time out to get it right. I ordered the 5 piece spicy chicken tenders combo, but had to wait on the tenders to cook. I was informed of the wait time and the women at the front checked on me while I waited to make sure I was comfortable. The food was hot, the drink was delicious, and I was served with a smile from everyone who interacted with me. While the dining area is kinda small, they do have an area to eat at outside that offers additional space. The restaurant was clean, well kept, and everything was stocked and neat in the drink area. I definitely enjoyed my experience and will be returning in the future.

The mobile app is not the friendliest to use and staff have zero knowledge on how to navigate it. You have to remind them to check and make sure order went through. Trying to pay with credit card is difficult because it tells you use another card (which I did knowing my card was good)and meanwhile the order went through which I stumbled upon seeing receipt in my email, so then I had to check my cards I tried to make sure I wasn’t double charged. So if they ever offer you credit on mobile app, see if there’s an alternative choice. They asked me if I wanted fresh chicken which was nice. I got the lemon pepper wings which were pretty good.
