Beach vibes, fine taste & pure perfection at Baobab
Lunch by the beach doesn’t get better than this, perfectly cooked shrimp noodles packed with flavor and a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne to top it off. The combination of fine dining and tropical chill made it unforgettable.
The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the sea breeze right by Lamai Beach made everything even more special ✨
Highly recommend Baobab if you want that perfect mix of French elegance & island relaxation. We’ll definitely be back! ☀️

Great food and so so lovely staff. Nothing is tooivh for them. Always a smile on their face.
Towels available for the sun beds and a water trampoline for the kids.
Enough shade and comfortable wooden sunbeds.
Overall it’s a long beach where you can stroll up&down.
Many residents come here which speaks for their quality.

Best Place in Ko Samui!! Excellent restaurant, atmosphere and service is the best. You have sun beds and excellent view to the ocean. No need to rent them. We absolutely love this place. I would love to come back and spend the day.

Absolutely wonderful place to enjoy the breezy atmosphere and seafront views of the lovely Lamai beach; along with refreshing drinks and good foods. The setting is unique yet very spot on with its totally laid back decor. The cozy beachfront restaurant offers extensive sun lounging stations with umbrellas by the beach to enjoy the breeze and the sun. The food menu offers a plentiful selection of Thai and International dishes (and fresh pastries), and the portions I found them to be more than abundant and enjoyable. Owner and staff are incredibly pleasant and always come around to make sure everything is ok and enjoyed.
What I really like is that this place doesn’t seem to have chaotic energy of any sort with the patrons here, despite it always being filled and full of people. This place flourishes with people, yet it was so incredibly laidback and relaxed.

Our whole family was food poisoned after eating here. The food came out way too quick and we suspect that might be why. Food had probably been laying around for some time, atleast the chicken which was chewy. Other than that we thought the food tasted good, but sadly we were poisoned and had to stay home for 2 days. Nice staff and owner though. We appreciate the service.

Great customer service and lovely food. We’ve travelled here a number of times and never had any issues. We always get something to eat or drink whilst sunbathing for the day. You can get free sun-beds if you get something to eat or drink. Highly recommend

We spent the day at Baobab, starting with getting sunbeds and towels, and then having lunch at the restaurant.
We actually found Baobab through the webcam stream they have before leaving home, and we were not disappointed!
Great service at the beach and in the restaurant. The owner himself came out and greeted us, which was very nice. The food and the recommended passion mojito was excellent, and last but not least the beach is beautiful!
Bring cash, and if you want a massage, the ladies from the neighboring massage parlor offer a variety of massages and treatments.
We can wholeheartedly recommend Baobab and can easily get why this place has existed for 19 years!
