This has been at least the fourth of fifth time I’ve stopped to enjoy some lunch with a concrete for dessert, and there are a few things I keep having a slight issue with.
When it comes down to the fries in my value basket, I always ask for no salt and extra crispy, but the last several times I’ve visited, they’re nowhere near extra crispy and sometimes there are a few fries that are undercooked which is disappointing. Today was another experience of this which was underwhelming.
The second thing is the concretes. I love Culver’s and how delicious the custard is. What is extremely and I truly mean extremely disappointing is the LACK of toppings. I literally ask for extra toppings because of this issue, and then when I go to eat my concrete, there’s barely anything in it. Maybe a few pieces at the top, but toward the middle and end of the concrete I get one to three pieces of whatever topping I ordered. Like today, I asked for EXTRA cookie dough and out of the whole concrete I ate probably ten pieces. The rest was just custard. If I’m paying for extra topping, I do expect that throughout the whole concrete for an enjoyable experience and I do expect EXTRA.
If these two things could be worked on when I visit and order, that would be awesome because my favorite thing to do is visit Culver’s every now and then when I’m craving it because it’s really good.

I have been to this Culver’s multiple times and it is always great! I need to eat gluten free and they are always careful with the food and I never have a problem. Today I ordered and RJ took my order in the drive thru. He did a great job, asked if needing gluten free was an allergy and ensured the kitchen would know and be safe with everything. I ordered a single cheese burger with ketchup and it tasted like I was eating a piece of leather. The burger patter was flat, dry, and hard. MOST DISGUSTING BURGER I’ve had in my entire life. I also ordered a small concrete mixer and the brownie pieces were hard and were definitely old. This place should not charge as much as they do for this trash food. I’ll never go back to this location.

I ordered a Double butter burger cheese basket with fries cooked extra crispy. My wife ordered a single sourdough melt well toasted with no onions and added tomato. My wife and I were seated less than 5 minutes before our food arrived at our table. The sandwich I received was clearly not “made fresh only after being ordered “. The patties were luke warm and the chesse was room temperature without a hint of melting. And the fries had clearly been under the warmer far too long, as they were limp and clearly had not been made to my order. I should have sent it back and next time I will. My wife received a double sourdough melt with cheese only. When she orde6a single with tomato. The quality of the food and service at Culver’s locations throughout the area has declined in recent years . I am so disappointed.

I had the mushroom Swiss cheese burger single. It was a three out of five. I also had the Cod three piece meal. It came with fries and two tartar sauce cups. Cod was a five out of five, fries three out of five. Tartar sauce was perfect and just the right amount. The large side coleslaw is actually two coleslaws however, the cups were not full-cheap. It is a four out of five. I dab of butter for nice size roll. Butter too cold to spread so you only get to butter one side.
I also had the Strawberry Chicken salad with creamy French dressing. Very, very good a five out of five. I don’t like blue cheese, just never been a fan. However, the pecan half’s really set off the salad. Just the right amount of crunch with the chicken, strawberry and lettuce. Did I mention the huge chunks of chicken in this salad? Very satisfying.
The Coke Zero was a small and little lacking in flavor. The syrup used to make the drink was weak. I tasted more carbonation than drink.
My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich. She did not have a good experience. No bueno.

We love this place. We go here on the regular. There’s always plenty of staff wow, some of them are young and kind of clueless. Other stuff are extremely helpful and attentive. We never have to wait long. Things are usually extremely clean.

Honestly, the wait is not worth it. Food is reheated over and over. One of the workers told me it’d be ten minutes max to prepare my food, but it took way longer. Don’t recommend going there.

Burgers had so few toppings (3 different burgers) had to open all 3 to see if there were any at all. My kiddo’s burger was supposed to have ketchup and pickles – tiniest smear of ketchup and 2 little pickle slices. Other 2 burgers with more toppings were just as lame.

I usually order the Double Cheeseburger at Culvers. I wouldn’t mind bacon on my burger but, the way they fry the bacon is awful. It’s like it’s still half raw, undone and is so thin it’s like paper and that’s if you get more than 1 piece of it. I’d also like to complain about the condiments they put on. I ordered a hamburger with the works and had to look where the catsup and mustard was. It was there, about the size of a dime of both. Really. A multi million dollar company and they have to scrimp on condiments. One more thing I have to add is this is the worst custard that I have ever had. Strawberry custard with frozen jelly like strawberrys. How gross. Wakeup Culvers. Your commercials on TV don’t even cut it when people have to deal with these reviews.

This is specific to the Menomonee Falls, WI store… this is the location we frequent. I would say they screw up our order every other visit. It happened again tonight. They forgot two sandwiches. I called, went back to get the sandwiches and they gave me the ones they had made and then forgotten. So now they were cold and dry. This store needs some help.
