It would be nice if they had more labels to let you know exactly what each item is in the buffet. Many items were not labeled and not clear just by appearance on what they were.
There was also no one at the reception desk when we walked in and had to wait several minutes for someone to show up. We were told any leftovers still on our plates that we wanted to take home had to be weighed and paid for, ok, not wholly convenient and seems unnecessary, but whatever. So we got a box for my friend to take her leftover sweets home for later. And then we couldn’t find anyone for close to 10 minutes to weigh the box and take our payment for it.
On the other hand, the place was very clean, staff were friendly and easy to talk with (when present), and the atmosphere is great for food and conversation.
We decided to order 3-dozen for our 2025 Thanksgiving dinner and leftover sandwiches we planned to make the following day. We picked up three white lunch bags of buns that was placed in a cardboard box. In a rush, no big deal. Within 10 minutes getting home from the pickup the buns where mashed and deflated. It looks like it came fresh from the oven and straight into a lunch bag. If it was left to air out the heat the buns should have held it’s shape for the most part. Previous years they came packaged in donut like boxes. We tried calling several times with no answer but a full voice message. No guests wanted to eat the bun because it was gooey and we ended up throwing it away with no sandwiches to be prepared the following morning. $25.94 for three dozen and we got about six that was eaten.
It would be nice to be credited this minus the 6 buns that were eaten.
Service was excellent the whole time. She checked in at the right moments, kept things moving smoothly, and had a great attitude the entire visit. Friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling rushed or impersonal.
The food was also great across the board. Everything we tried was fresh, well stocked, and tasted fantastic. The buffet was kept in really good shape and it was clear the staff were paying attention to keeping things looking and tasting good.
What really made the visit memorable though was Sara’s personality. She’s the kind of person who naturally makes the place feel welcoming and comfortable. It’s rare to see that level of genuine friendliness these days.
Golden Corral is lucky to have her. Excellent service, great food, and a wonderful experiance overall. We’ll definitely be back.
I don’t particularly like buffets but the food was good. The service was very kind and plentiful.
Whatever you could want from a buffet this place has it.
Our server Stefanie was nice and hospitable.
If you’re looking for a healthy place to eat. I’d go somewhere else. But if you want some place that feels just a little bit like home then go here. Quite diverse and decent.
Now for the customer service. Some of them were extremely nice and I was very grateful. We did our Christmas here and they were so nice about cleaning up even though we offer to take the paper home.
As for the management. Very unhappy with them. We only had a group of 13 so they would not make a reservation for us. So they told us to call 2 hours in advance and they would make sure tables were next to each other.
We did this and they were not. Then the front end person looked at my mom like she was stupid when she told them that we had called.
They had no recollection of her calling and saying that we had a large party coming in. Then they rudely told her that they could see what they could do and it just happens that two tables next to each other had just left.
I understand that they can’t always plan ahead for large groups, but the way they reacted after telling us to call was very unprofessional.
