Have been coming to this roundtable for almost 20 years. It’s started to go downhill about 8 months ago. We always come for salad bar and sometimes a personal pizza. Didn’t get a welcome when we came in our a thank you when we left. I’ve never said anything before thinking it was just an off day. This time, I couldn’t hold back. Guy taking our order was anything but pleasant, just a grunt for any answers..i don’t think he even looked up at us from under his hat. Salad bar was horrible. There were 4 containers basically empty. The broccoli was almost empty but the ends were all brownish black .i put some tomatoes in my dish… they were completely mush, the garbonzo beans looked slimy and really old. I almost asked for a refund but ate what liked ok because I wasn’t in the mood to go anywhere else. I looked through the window and one of the employeeswas standing there vaping till they saw me and put it down real quick. I’m not sure if I’ll be back after all these years. I’ve let things slide for complaining for awhile. I can’t imagine it being much worse than tonight… just come on people. If you don’t want to do the job, move on so someone else that wants to work can do so. The tables around us, there were probably 4 that after the customers left, didn’t even get cleaned up. It wasn’t busy at all the whole time we were in there. And stop vaping in the kitchen…I worked with the health dept.. that is definitely not allowed

If you’re looking for a place to bring family for a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, this is a good option. However, it’s not the ideal choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly buffet pizza place.
Price is $36 for a 2 person “meal” 2 sodas and a small pizza the size of your plate any way is all salad you can eat if you are vegetarian this is the place for you.

This place used to be my favorite pizza spot in all of Tacoma. So much so that I even worked here in high school. The first item I ever had was their breadsticks. My aunt sent us down for a few orders and that’s all we had for dinner. Six breadsticks could feed 1 or 2 people enough for a meal. The pizza was good; they had awesome sandwiches. The salad bar was amazing, and the atmosphere was the best. That has all changed. They quit using fresh sausage and ground beef. They quit using fresh BBQ chicken. They stopped making the breadsticks the way they used to. The salad bar is terrible with most items being frozen or wilting. The location of the building has changed making the atmosphere cold and unwelcoming. I really hate when a place that I really loved to spend my time and money goes down the drain. I don’t think Round Table will ever be the same and that’s a pity. There are so many other pizza places to try and maybe Round Table just can’t compete any longer. Very sad but I suppose all good things must eventually come to an end. Thanks for reading and Cheers!

We visited the Round Table in Tacoma the one on Hosmer 7921 Sourh Hosmer A-1 98408 we ordeeed two large pizza separately and both pizza to go but asked them to bring it to our table. They gave us two #. One pizza came and the other took an hour for the pizza to come out. Two other customers got their pizza one a party of 2 and the other party of 7 and they got their pizza before us. I went to the counter and told them I think you guys forgot about us the lady behind the counter said rudely we are doing our best. She the. Came to bring our pizza which was basically cold and dry. We were hungry so we just are it but not wasn’t enjoyable. She offered me a salad bar but I informed her i don’t eat saled. I was disappointed on the service we got. I think they should have made a new pizza our at least warmed it up so it was still hot and not room temperature

Decent pizza. Fresh ingredients, fresh made, and good flavors. They do a decent job of keeping the buffet full as well. The price is right! Just over $13 for pizza and cola buffet. The people watching is top notch, too. There are always a variety of characters here to entertain you as you dine.

We ordered an XL pizza and 2 salad bar. They said it would be 45 min for the pizza. We said okay. I asked if someone could refill the salad bar because almost everything was out or extremely low… With only a few pieces left. He said okay. I waited 20 minutes for them to refill it. No one ever refilled it. My husband went and asked about refilling it again and the same guy said that they were out of everything. So why sell us 2 salad bar orders if you are out of everything? ! And why didn’t someone let us know earlier? We were waiting for so long and no one even bothered to come over and at least let us know that they couldn’t refill it or offer us a refund. My family was eating pizza but all I was eating was the salad bar. It took 40 min to find out about the salad bar so our pizza was almost ready already. So I had to sit there and wait while my family ate the pizza so we could leave. I left really hungry and extremely frustrated about the lack of customer service. I am very displeased. No one ever apologized or anything.

Service was a bit slow, but the orders were going out the door as fast as they could. Lots of pick up orders. The pizza quality hasn’t changed in years, and it’s always good. I recommend the King Arthur pizza. The linguica works well with the peppers and fresh onions and pepperoni, etc. The parmesan breadstick twists with cheese in them were solid as well with at least 3 dipping options. They have 4 beers on tap and two of them are decent IPA’s. They pack a decent amount of games on here for kids and adults that require a card, similar to chuck-e-cheese. The prizes are ok and you get them from a machine across by the quarter machines. The place was clean and the staff was really nice.

10-28-2022-Yep, new crew. Same dude cooking, but the ppl at the front counter…amazingly different from the first crew. The pizza was awesome, different variety and lots to choose from. Salad bar was stocked and fresh. The games are new, you buy a card now and front load it like Dave and Busters, no more tickets!!
6-22-2022-Looks like a new crew here. We went because my kid requested it for their last day of school lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, the pizzas were replenished often and with several varieties. The lady behind the counter was friendly and professional.
4-18-2022-The last 3 times we’ve been out for the lunch buffet it has been really disappointing. The salad buffet has wilting lettuce, or sour lettuce. And it’s messy from other people using it and mixing food. The pizza takes forever to come out. When I visit for the lunch buffet I don’t have all day. I have 1 hour, minus travel time. So it’s disappointing when I can’t get a meal from the buffet. Lately all they make for the buffet is cheese or cheese and pepperoni pizza. Gag! When I requested a pizza the unfriendly lady at the counter tells me she will tell the guy in the back, but it’s not a guarantee. And of course, it wasn’t be made. Today it was packed, and there was a delay of over 30 minutes while there was NO pizza at the buffet and no worker in sight. I don’t think I’ll be going back for a really long time. I’m leaving my last review attached. It’s really gone downhill.
2019-I’m giving it a 5 star rating because I come here like 1-2 times a month for their lunch buffet. The people who work here are pretty nice and accommodating. Tables are generally cleaned quickly once people leave, or you can ask them to clear a table – they do it quickly and with a good attitude. Esp if you aren’t a jerk and treat them with the same respect you want back. The salad buffet is always fresh, great variety. The soda machine has had a broken spout on one of the flavors for over a month, but it isn’t Dr. PEPPER haha so I don’t care! The pizza is generally full of variety. There have been a few times the pizza was taking a while to come out, but I requested a certain pizza and they brought it out for the buffet. The bathrooms are clean. Lots of seating. Game room.

I came in around 12:20 pm 12/29/25 and I wasn’t greeted, the cashier was kinda busy which is expected the atmosphere was definitely tense with the employees the reason for coming to this location was work related and due to the slow service I wasn’t able to feed my co workers and I paid for three plus myself. They stop making pizzas at 1:15 the cashier said there wasn’t any more pizza coming out which I thought policy was every 20 minutes for a rotation of pizzas to come out. I am not usually the person to complain but this is by far the worst experience and I will not return to this location EVER AGAIN. AND I WILL BE CALLING THE UPPER CHAIN OF COMMAND TO SEE WHAT THE POLICIES ARE AND WILL BE GETTING MORE CLARIFICATION ON THEIR SERVICES.

This round table is been clean inside. The pizza is delicious as always. I like to come here to get the all you can eat salad and being the pizza home. It’s a good to for 1 type of restaurant. The kids games are very expensive for not being an arcade.
