You do not get good value for your money here. Portion sizes are very small, particularly the rice and main dishes food is Greasy. Additionally, the staff displayed unprofessional attitudes and made customers feel as though they were an inconvenience. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

I don’t know how many time I have bypassed the strip mall in Raleigh where Lee’s Kitchen is located, but I have been missing something. I stopped there with a friend from work and ordered some stew chicken, which I haven’t had in a while with rice and peas, vegetables, sweet potatoes and an additional side of macaroni and cheese. There are a few Jamaican Restaurants in the Raleigh- Durham area, but Lee’s where have you been all my life. $34 might be a lot to spend on lunch, but considering that price included my purchase of a 20oz soda and a slice of strawberry-lemon cake and how delicious the food was it was worth it to me. I will certainly be returning. It’s a small place, no dine in and the parking lot is shared by the other stores on the strip, but I promise you when you get a hankering for real Jamaican food..Go To Lee’s!

I am deeply disappointed at the prices they are now charging. A FEE TO USE YOUR DEBIT CARD, mac and cheese no longer considered a side, got to pay for it as a add on. and quality of the food is no longer what it used to be to be. Staff always has a attitude.!

The staff was really nice and friendly. They give you a lot, as you can see. Take out only. I had the curry chicken, which was good. My mac n cheese was dry, but that could be because I went at 7pm.

Been coming here for over a year about once a week. Mac and cheese isn’t a side in a platter no more as of 2026. This has officially become mid tier. Jerk chicken, stew chicken, and rice and peas are good. Oxtails are like eating jelly/fat, no real meat. Fried fish I got last time was raw still. Food gets a 6/10. Customer service is a 0/10. My wife won’t even go in with me to avoid a headache.

I’ll start with the couple good things. Cornbread was tasty and jerk sauce was authentic and had a good flavor. Now the bad…this place shouldn’t have chicken sandwiches on its menu! They have no clue what they are. The “grilled” ones were a boned quarter leg of fried chicken on a bun. The jerk chicken “sandwich” came the same way except covered in jerk sauce. On top of that the chicken was completely raw inside! They didn’t include the fries like their menu said and worse of all (one of the main reasons I stopped in), they forgot my sweet plantains even after I asked one last time when they were bagging things up. The hot bar items looked and smelled good but wish they would have told me they really don’t make sandwiches (and took it off their menu). Very disappointed.

This place use to be worth the money but now not at all. The prices are extremely high for the small portions of food that you receive. I ordered a brown stew chicken, curry chicken and fried chicken plate. The brown stew was extremely dry and the rice and beans was just as bad. Now you can’t add mac and cheese as one of your side items it has to be a separate side item for additional money which is just another money grab in my opinion. This wasn’t the first time that I experienced subpar food but I usually try to give a business an another chance but this will be my last time getting food from here.

I make sure to stop here whenever I’m in town. If you are looking for a sit-down restaurant this is not that type of place. If you are looking for great Jamaican food this is the best hand down. I love the brown stew chicken and ox tails.

They make you pay top dollar for the meat but give you a lot of rice with only a couple pieces of the meat you pay for. There floors are dirty, dust is everywhere which probably gets on the food. Even the utensils dispensary is filthy ( probably never been cleaned). There food grade is good, but it’s probably because they did some extensive cleaning before the business got inspected

So, good I had to buy a second plate and my family tried to eat it up . My friend never had Jamaican and bought herself a plate too! It brought back good memories . Plus, I’ve never had good food like this in Fayetteville . Such a crime they only came for Dog wood festival . Even the plantains were special. Please come back soon.
