My job has ordered from North and South quite a few times within the past few months. So far I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve eaten from here. I only have a picture of the Jambalaya that I’ve had twice now, and it was really delicious. Cornbread was really fluffy and fresh tasting. The only thing I wished they would do is put the Jambalaya in a different container if it were possible; one that was leak free. Last time I picked up food, sauce leaked out of the container and everywhere in the bag on my coworkers food boxes and my coworker had less sauce on hers. Other food items I’ve had and were great tasting are, the Cajun fish bites, and Friday Fish Fry. I would recommend this restaurant.

We made reservations for our group, and then mistakenly went to the wrong location! The hostess was fabulous and found us a table.
Server Kylie was attentive and helpful. Food portions were generous! Shrimp was overcooked. The Liberty Mule was one of the tastiest mules I’ve ever had.

We had dinner at North & South in Verona last night. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the dry rub spare ribs. But my main point of this review was the outstanding service by our server Nika. She was a delight! From the get go she made us feel welcome and she was so friendly and attentive. It’s honestly the best service I’ve seen in some time anywhere and we dine out all over the place, including Chicago at top rated restaurants. Kudos Nika!

Update 3/22/25- We went on a Saturday afternoon and ate in, the server was quick and very attentive. I got the 50/50 (My go to) and my boyfriend got the brisket grilled cheese (also amazing, i recommend adding their smoky smoky bbq). The Food came out very fast, was hot, well seasoned, and probably the best we’ve had yet! Fries were crispy, hot, and well salted. I highly recommend dipping your fries in the Cajun Ranch!
Original review: I really wish i could give this place more than 5 stars. We come here almost weekly, i get the 50/50 sandwich cause its soul saving (lol). Ive also had their tacos, brisket grilled cheese, and smoky chicken salad. EVERY SINGLE ONE has been delicious. Smoky smoky bbq sauce is my favorite! Their cajun ranch is excellent as well! Their fries are fresh and crispy with the perfect amount of salt every time. You get a lot of food for what you pay! Food is ready very quickly. We usually order to-go, but the couple of times Ive eaten inside, staff were friendly, food was amazing, and comes out quickly. We will continue to come here weekly/biweekly, thank you for consistently being great every time!

My wife and I ate here on Friday. The food was great!! I had a Ahi salad that was really good. The staff is very friendly and professional. It was very busy but they did a great job taking care of all the customers. Our server was perfect.

This is hands down one of the best places to eat in town! We had the ribs, brisket, firecracker chicken with sides and EVERYTHING was delicious. We will definitely be back!
