What a disappointment. The Lighthouse Grill completely missed the mark on quality, flavor, and customer service. The fish and chips were greasy and bland — hardly deserving of the title “catch of the day.” If this is fresh, I’d hate to imagine what it’s like after a few days. Worst fish and chips ever.
The fish sandwich didn’t fare any better. It was undercooked and equally lacking in flavor. I found myself reaching for ketchup just to make the meal somewhat bearable — never a good sign for seafood.
To top it off, the service was lacking. A young blonde staff member interrupted our waitress mid-order without so much as an apology, which was rude and unprofessional.
Overall, a very underwhelming experience. I regret not reading the recent reviews beforehand. I won’t be returning. $78 in the trash. Sad, because, the location is perfect.

burger time
Place has really gone downhill over the years food quality wise… Seem to have gotten rid of the homemade rolls and buns and now just give you an untoasted Franz burger bun they buy at Murphy’s next door. Basically $15 for a soggy burger and no fries, long wait, staff seem annoyed youre there. This place used to be great.

This is a must stop every time we are at the coast. The tuna melt is so good. We also love the mashed potato cones. It’s the right amount of brisket and potatoes!!

Food was delicious. My husband got the savory mashed potato cone “all the way”. He loved it! I wasn’t sure if I would like it and to my surprise it was quite delicious. I got a burger with a side of hand cut fries. Fries were good and plentiful, burger was nice and juicy, seriously have no complaints.

Great little restaurant experience. Staff was very friendly at walk up order station. There is outdoor seating. We had California Tuna melt and fish sandwich. Plenty of food and delicious. The hamburgers and mash potato cones looked great as well. This is a popular eatery and filled up with locals and travelers. We really enjoyed eating here.

I also tried their homemade soda, lemon mint, some may feel it’s not bubbly enough, but I think it was just right. Not so sweet like typical sodas tend to be. Very refreshing!
We ended with a shared ice cream cone, again homemade ice cream and cones, we chose the Jasmine Orange Blossom!
Again, perfectly flavored and not overly sweet..

I got clam chowder and it came out cold. They were nice enough to get another one. Wasn’t my fav, very thick and not hot. Hubby got fish and chips which were tasty

Cute, very nautical themed place not far from the sea, but NOT waterfront. This is a counter service restaurant with the food delivered to your table. The food is basically fast food quality at much higher prices. I had the grilled fish sandwich and garlic fries. The fries were extremely overpriced at $8.95. The sandwich was OK. While the proportion was very generous, the fries were extremely disappointing. They were very greasy and not close to crispy. The Parmesan was scarce and the garlic dip not really very garlicky. Pass on this place.

For 5 people including 2 drinks and a root beer float it was around $70. Pretty good prices! The fried chicken sandwich wasn’t our favorite but the fish sandwich, the clam chowder and fries were great. Love that they had root beer on tap.
