The food was really delicious and filling, would give it a five star but how we were treated was not negligible, we were treated like tourists and not in a good way, so if you ever want to go here for the food its very nice, bit ignore the waitress

Excellent traditional Alsatian restaurant in the heart of Strasbourg. Meat-based dishes are fantastic. I recommend the Café Gourmand, a sampling of all their desserts for one or two persons.

A very nice restaurant with a good menu. Service was accommodating, too. Was open for a last minute reservation.

I thing there is no low quality restorant in Strasbourg. Flambee Munster, Chevre Chaud, cordon bleu is all delicious. Servis was speed. Wi-fi connect was good. Maybe wine menu can be more atractive.

This place was recommended by our hotel, and we got a little complimentary schnapps at the end. We ordered two flammkuechen or “tart flambée”, and both were good. Nothing to rave about, and the quality-price ratio was not the best, but overall the staff was nice and the food was tasty.

We have Dinner here every time we are in Strasbourg, it’s sooooo delicious! The service is excellent and the food is out of this world while reasonably priced. The lovely lady who waited on us is fluent in English, German and French (maybe more languages that we’re not aware of), she made us feel so welcome and at home, thank you for making this yet another perfect evening at à la tête de lard, we will definitely be back in summer!

Quaint local spot with brilliant food. The liver dumplings were excellent. I tried Alsacian whisky which I believe is barley based and aged in white wine casks. Not quite bourbon but very nice. Service was a bit slow, even for France, but the one server was running hard so understandable.

Loved the place, the food is absolutely stunning, so good and authentic! Would recommend to anyone! It was my first time in Strasbourg, first restaurant, could not hope better.
Flammekueche is delicious, I had the pork knuckle, god in heavens, meat was tender, sauerkraut sweet perfect and the strudel completed the meal perfectly.

The Flammkuchens here are very good!
The prices are very good! It’s not common to see such quality with prices like this!
I had a great time drinking a bit of alchool and eating Alsatian, quality food here.
The people here are very calm and nice, the place itself has a traditional style, with wood and brick.
If you’re here to celebrate a birthday or if you just want to drink a few shots, just go there!
Overall, I recommend this place to someone wanting to discover the tradition of Alsatian food.
