The french toast was some of the BEST I’ve had. I would go back for just that alone. We also got the chilaquiles and those were subpar but not nasty. The atmosphere is great service is fantastic! Pricing wasnt too bad.

From start to finish, our evening at 97 West was perfection. We enjoyed expertly cooked steaks and fresh, flavorful fish, complemented by delicious sides that tied the meal together beautifully. The cocktails were creative, balanced, and absolutely spot-on. The ambience was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable night out. Service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of. Highly recommend 97 West for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Fort Worth!

We decided to have the Christmas Eve brunch this year at the 97 West Kitchen & Bar inside the beautiful and iconic Drover Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, TX. We love eating here and this brunch did not disappoint. I had the lobster omelette and my husband had the Wagyu beef burger with duck egg, and both were delicious. This was a four course meal and Christmas at the Drove is a very special time because the decorations are over the top beautiful.

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever ate at. The vibes 10/10. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible – especially the steak! So tasty! We did make reservations at least a week ahead of time to get a table. Very festive and fun during the holidays at night!

Patricio was our server, he was very attentive to our needs. He ensured our food was accurate and timely to our table. Patricio was calm and patient in explaining the menu and accommodating to our dietary needs. He engaged in pleasant conversations and made sure our table was clear and glasses full without asking. Outside of his excellent service the food was delicious. The ribs were saucy and tender, failing off the bone. The mac n cheese was creamy and filling. The bread pudding was large and delicious. All in all 10 out of 10 recommend

Great experience and good food. Definitely need a reservation but a good time otherwise. Tooo is 3 drip in visit rejections due to events to get in with reservation, but worth it.

Breakfast during our stay at The Hotel Drover. We ordered the Tostadas and French Toast.

Both are the best value on the menu and the quality for both was great!

Definitely would order both items again and again.

REALLY DELICIOUS FOOD
EXCELLENT SERVICE

Overall my wife and I along with two of our grownup children had an amazing time here for dinner APR 2025.
But I’ll just start on a bad note. We did have a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early. We were told to wait – and ended up waiting 25 minutes. And was seated 20 minutes after our reservation. That was a bit disappointing – and also caused us to be late for the rodeo.

Well anyway. It did not ruin our experience here.
The staff (Reception area) is generally a bit reserved – but professional.
Our waitress was Dulce – just an amazing person. She really helped make this experience great. She is kind, polite, has a great humour, is attentive, respectful and professional. Yes. She really amazed us.

I love the style and decor of 97West. Just a really great vibe overall.

The menu is not too big, which I believe is a good thing. Better have a smaller menu and excel at it than have a lot of choices and be mediocre. And 97West excel at their food.
They do have quite a nice selection of beverages. But it would be nice with a greater selection of wines from Texas. Could include Reddy Vineyard or Becker Vineyard.

The food tasted amazingly good. For starters we had:
BLT deviled eggs
Shishito pepper crab dip
Charcuterie board

The eggs were ok – needed a little more spice – but not bad at all.
The charcuterie board was big enough for 2-3 persons as a starter.

For main courses we had:
Bison tenderloin
Broken Arrow Ranch Antelope
2 x Redfish

All main courses were absolutely amazing.

Definitely a place to dine if visiting the The Stockyards. Make sure to have a reservation 🙂

We went to the 97 Kitchen for lunch during the week on Wednesday the 25th of Feb. The surroundings are quite pleasant, very upscale. Lobby of the Drover is really nice. Kevin, our waiter was the only really good thing about the meal. My wife had the sourdough chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were ok. She liked the sauce on the chicken and the sourdough bread, but the chicken itself was just average. I was really psyched for my meal! I love pastor and they had a pastor taco that was actually pork belly and at Kevin’s recommendation I chose the brisket for the other taco and I had the slaw for my side. The whole meal was a disappointment for me. The slaw was more of a vinegar base and although quite fresh, was very bland. The pork belly was quite dry and overcooked, there was not much sauce and it was just really bad when compared to some I have had. The brisket was also dry and the sauce almost non-existant. Overall for $50 plus tip it was my worst meal that I had in my first visit to Texas. And it was the most expensive for the size of the meal. I would not visit again. In the end I gave it a two because frankly I can’t eat the decor or the fancy surroundings. I care more about the actual flavors than presentation.
