Sad how things have gone down hill over the years. Used to be a great spot to eat, friendly staff, good prices.
Haven’t been here in around 2 years, and most definitely won’t be back.

This review is from our visit on 10/26/2025
Family got here around 2pm, immediately noticed the tacky, giant “gambling” machines. Half the pies in their display are from either Costco or Sam’s Club. They just pulled the price tags off of the containers

We were seated pretty quickly in booth, and they had a TV on the other side with a football game on. My youngest son is autistic, and loves football, so he was trying to see the game. I asked the young lady who seated us if it would be possible to move to the booth on the other side of the glass partitioned wall, so my son can see the game. She said it wasn’t a problem.

As soon as we were seated, I heard a server who was wrapping silverware at the bar, who turned out to be our server, ask her “why are they seated in my area?” with a snarky tone.

She sits for a few more minutes, then gets up and comes to the booth. Mind you, were no more than 20 feet behind her. Sarah was cold, rude, and definitely had the “I don’t want to be here” vibe.

My autistic son had finished his fries, and politely asked her “excuse me? Can I please get a refill on my fries?”. She snapped back immediately with “uh, we don’t refill fries. If you want more, you have to pay for it” with one of the most disrespectful tones I’ve heard towards a 12 year old.

I immediately turned around, while my wife grabbed my arm, knowing I was about to make a scene. I told her to get him his order and put it on my bill. And yes, when I said that, it was in a rude, harsh tone.

After all of that, she then comes over with the bill, just tosses it on the table and walks away.

I get that people have bad days, but when you’re primary income is tips, maybe you should attempt to act nice.

After this, I can say with absolute honesty that we will never be back at a Julie’s Cafe.

The level of attitude and disrespect that Sarah showed towards my family is inexcusable.

Julie’s Cafe is a fantastic spot for a Sunday morning breakfast with a great selection of reasonably priced dishes. I especially appreciated the traditional menudo, which was absolutely delicious, and the chorizo was fantastic too. A warm, inviting place that delivers on flavor and value!

The food and service were AMAZING. Huge portions, incredible flavor, and outstanding customer service from start to finish. Everything exceeded expectations and I couldn’t be happier. Do yourself a favor and stop by — you’ll be glad you did. Big shout out to our waitress, Melissa

If you haven’t been to Julie’s Cafe in Green Bay, you’re missing out! I got the steak and eggs ($12 for an actual steak, not chopped steak)to go and it was ready in 10 minutes and cooked perfectly. Julie’s is a staple for us when we want delicious food, done quickly, at a very reasonable cost. Their pressure fried chicken is also amazing.

I went here for breakfast. I had the strawberry French Toast. It was good. I also had a side of bacon, a little disappointed in the size of the side of bacon. I had hash browns and they were really good.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The place has a diner feel to it.

I would return if back in the area.

Bicycling: The road was just okay for cycling. They also don’t have an outdoor area for eating.

My wife and I tried this café for breakfast, largely based on Google reviews. As a Packers season ticket holder, this is my new go-to for noon games!
On back to back days, both Shay and Eva were awesome waitresses, always finding time for chit-chat and making sure things were good.
The breakfasts were filling and delicious! We tried the omelet (no pic), skillet, and the farmers country breakfast. Most breakfasts come with either toast, mini-pancakes or a muffin and I’m here to say the muffins are phenomenal! Example is the blueberry one: homemade and loaded with blueberries! Our waitress wrapped ours on the second trip, knowing we wouldn’t finish and she was right! Very filling.
Atmosphere is that of a diner: always busy and a lot of regulars

My husband and I used to go here at least once a week up until about two months ago. I always order the crepes they were always delicious. I got my crepes they had so much cream cheese it was hard getting down and I felt sick afterwards. I returned yesterday to try it again; I figured new cook. So, I told the guy who has waited on us the past at least 7 times we were there that the crepes had too much cream cheese the last time I was here could you ask the cook to just put an adequate amount on. He said oh yes everyone has been complaining about that and I told Junior not to put those big spoonfuls on. My crepes came out with just a brush of cream cheese couldn’t taste it, had to look for it inside. The waiter never came back to ask how my meal was. I passed him when I went up to pay he was sitting at the front long table on his phone. I said while I walked by tell the cook he needs to put a little more cream cheese on. Now the waiter says out loud in front of others oh this lady is just never happy first too much then too little. I asked if the cook was new. He said no he’s a young guy that’s always been here. I said how could the crepes always be perfect before and then have a ton of cream cheese and now hardly any. He said it depends on his mood if he just flops the cream cheese on or not. He said he told him to put it on light. I think the waiter told him to do that on purpose one extreme to the next because the waiter then made a comment with a big smile of , oh were is my cream cheese and that I had to look for it on my crepe. Anyways, the place lost my business. The food was good but if you have to worry about having to eat and pay for crap intentionally made bad then it’s not worth it.

I had the steak and eggs steak was way undercooked I didnt even finish it and then my normal coffee was 4$ I couldn’t believe it. I could get a medium frappe for the same at mcdonalds. 1/5 wouldn’t recommend. Staff was friendly enough and cute atmosphere just took a while to be served.

I like this place, seems kinda down home. Just one thing this morning, toast was dry as it was like bread sat out over night without wrap and toasted the next day. I’ll be back soon for another breakfast to see if the toast is fresh.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and honestly it’s always been pretty hit or miss. My mom wanted to go here recently for fried chicken so I went with her and I was really pleasantly surprised. Chicken was juicy with well seasoned breading and decently sized. Potato wedges were really good and seasoned nicely, as well. Chose their chicken dumpling soup as one of my sides and it was so good, really hit the spot, absolutely no complaints. Would definitely recommend the soup, it’s the exact kind of thing I’d want if I was sick. It’s a little bit salty but that’s how I like my soup. Server was friendly and prompt with everything. I think I’ll probably go back, if not just for more soup.
