My husband and I had a fantastic experience at pegs. We went here spur of the moment for breakfast and havent stopped talking about how great it was. The service was excellent, my husband never had an empy cup of coffee and my water stayed full! The food was fantastic! Large servings worth every penny spent.

My elderly father and I frequent this place whenever we get the chance.. After church we like coming here for coffee and eats. The food is fabulous and never disappoints. Booths, bar, and tables available. Servers, staff are always friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere is like a diner, warm cozy memories. Service were very sweet and accommodating. Portions are pretty large. We sadly didn’t care for the oil or butter or whatever they used to cook the hashbrowns, it tasted rancid or artificial or something odd, maybe the grill needed cleaning, whatever it was, it left a bag taste. Other than that we were pleased.

This place was awesome the food was fantastic, although I love breakfast. I had country fried steak. waitresses we’re very friendly and very quick, food was hot and And the chefs were a lot of fun to watch from the counter seat. I also took some pictures of the food being stage up on the counter right in front of us, everything looked fantastic. I would suggest this place to anybody that’s in the lemon Valley area of Reno.I will be back soon.

The review gets one star reluctantly. DO NOT GO HERE.. The food was overcooked and undercooked they didn’t know what they were doing. they definitely don’t know how to cook eggs .So for A breakfast place you think that’d be kind of important….. Well, not to them, it’s not important because they had somebody back there who didn’t know how to cook anything as far as I’m concerned, everything on my plate was bad. I was charged $31 for one person and I had a cup of coffee 3.99 , 2 eggs with meat breakfast 15.99, a Sausage patty $8.99 with hash browns and toast i didn’t eat but maybe five bItes because it was that bad and that disgusting.I will never go there again. I should have been reimbursed or GOT OFFERED a gift card or something . TO COME TRY AGAIN because it wasn’t any good.And the only way I would ever try it again and give it another chance to give it a better review. If they give me my money back.

Delicious breakfast, large portions, only waiting 15 minutes for food to prepared, friendly staff and a bit on the pricey side. We did a brunch around 11’sh and we’re not disappointment by the eggs Benedict, French toast and omelette. Recommend for a couples date as it was expensive for the entire family.

I have eaten here 3 times now, I have yet to have a satisfactory meal. Two of the meals were bland and under seasoned, and the third, the “Joe’s Scramble” was so dry and flavorless that it was a challenge to eat it. My wife had the “Country Fried Steak” which she said was pretty good, I should have tried that instead.

Was invited yesterday Nov 12 2025 to have brunch with a friend I haven’t seen in years. Friendly atmosphere, clean, value for the money, the wait for your food wasn’t that long, great tasting food. We ate, talked, wasn’t rushed to hurry and leave. Wasn’t disturbed with constitant bugging from a waiter or waitress, it was just right all most perfect. Wasn’t so loud you couldn’t hear the conversation at the table, but not to quite that everyone around you was hearing what you said. Some elderly and some people that needed assistance walking came in and the servers made sure areas were clear that those needing the help had a clear path. I recommend Peg’s, it’s like home cooked food without the clean up.

Probably the last time I will go there. The people working there are great. The food was horrible today. It’s left such a bad taste in my mouth. None of the dishes were clean. The water tasted like soap. The sausage gravy had no sausage. It reminded me of mayonnaise. Too many places in Reno serve breakfast to choose this place.
