The Gaglione Bros. menu and recipes started well before Joe, Andy, and Tony broke ground on their first restaurant. It began in older brother Joe’s kitchen in Pacific Beach where they created and tested subs and menu items to their liking.Then in 2004, feeling confident they created a recipe for success, the brothers threw caution to the wind and opened the first Gaglione Bros. Fast, friendly, hot, and a lot. I got the pepper cheesesteak with sweet peppers and regular fries and a lemonade. Regular 8 inch sandwich was stuffed with steak and peppers (huge portions) fries were hot. 5 stars, highly recommend this one.

The food is good and the staff is really helpful. Not a fan of the atmosphere, and it’s mostly because of the layout. If you order to go, you stand around awkwardly, especially if the tables are all full. There’s not much they can do with the small space. Hopefully more people will recognize the good quality food and they will grow to a larger location. Honestly, one of the best Philly cheesesteaks you can get and it blows Jersey Mike’s out of the water. They can’t even compete. Cheers Gaglione Brothers

My fiance was craving some Philly cheese steaks so he decided to order us some dishes for delivery. He got the traditional Philly cheese steak sandwich and what looks to be Philly cheese steak fries. He’s been talking about this place for a while so I felt he hyped it up. So I was a little underwhelmed with what we got. It’s definitely some comfort food Style, but quality is subpar at best. It is overly cheesy, and the bread definitely tasted stale and just heat it up last minute. I will take into consideration that this was for takeout and not dying in which may be a different experience.

Very casual place full of delicious sandwiches and fries. The small is so loaded and a generous size I could only eat half. The portion size on the cheese jalapeño fries is so big and yummy . Been coming for years. Great spot

I ordered the large cheesesteak combo which came with garlic fries and a fountain drink. The total came out to about $20.
The sandwich was really good. The bread was toasted perfectly and the steak was flavorful and tender. There were a few pieces of gristle throughout, but nothing too bad. It was still an enjoyable sandwich overall.
The garlic fries were excellent. They were hot, crispy, and seasoned really well.
Customer service was great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the food was ready in under 10 minutes.
I would definitely come back and order again. Five out of five!

I’ve never actually been to Philadelphia, so I can’t say from personal experience that this is an authentic Philly style cheesesteak. But if I did go there, and I was served one as good as what I’ve had here, I would be impressed! The giant is plenty for 2 people and a single fries for $3.49 is more than enough for two as well. Everything was fresh, hot, and terrific. The wait was short even when they were busy.

Cheesesteaks are VERY GOOD! I prefer the “BAJA CHEESESTEAK” made with chicken, green peppers, onions, jalapeños peppers and cheese. Comes in three different sizes. Make it a combo with fries and Pepsi. Guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome cheesesteaks that are well worth stopping by for. They offer Tastykake and all the appropriate sides. When you get a drink, the Dr. Pepper sprays all over the place at the end of the pour. Also, watch out for the slow flushing toilet.
