Brick oven plain pizza with San marzano tomato sauce with slight char on the edges but not overly burnt on the bottom. Excellent pizza, highly recommended.

Worth an hour plus drive to get here!!!
What looks like a classic pizza joint, boasts some fantastic pies and a top-5 cheesesteak anywhere out of the 134 different shop’s jawns I’ve tried since November, 2020!
The cheesesteak is about to burst out of the roll, so be prepared to detach your jaw, or perhaps ask for a second seeded roll, house-baked to absolute perfection, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Plenty of delicious ribeye and caramelized onions that are seasoned just right and melt in your mouth, and the perfect ratio of Cooper Sharp cheese. If you don’t love this cheesesteak, there’s something wrong with you!
We also had the Drunken Grandma. If you told me they deep fried the crust, I’d believe you. An amazing crunch but still fluffy, just the right amount of cheese, and delicious a la vodka sauce. Finished with Basil, even my nieces who only eat plain cheese wanted seconds.
The Funghi slice was also phenomenal!
Only thing I’d change here would be salad options, but that isn’t an indictment, just that if someone wants one, you gotta make a second stop.

Verona did not miss. Let’s start with the Cheesesteak which had enough meat on it to make a second Cheesesteak from it. Definitely in my top 5 Cheesesteaks of all time. The seeded roll, sweet peppers and Cooper cheese made our 1 hour and 30 minute trip well worth it. I also had the white pizza which was good. Due to the pizza not being great, we regretted not getting the pepperoni hot honey. Someone sitting near us ordered that and it looked absolutely amazing. Making another trip son just to try that pizza. The only issue with this place is, they are extremely busy and they only have a small seating area. Makes eating inside an absolute every man for themselves game. It’s possible you may have to eat in your car. Worth it though.

Four stars because they don’t tell you about the service fee for using your card, or have it posted. Had I known I would have paid cash. Also for atmosphere. I wouldn’t go here to dine in on a busy night as there are only about 4 tables and a countertop to sit at. And all the places to sit were pretty dirty. To be fair they were pretty busy, but there was definitely plenty of people working and standing around to do a quick table wipe. Also, there is only one bathroom. I wanted to do a quick hand wash before eating, but the 25 minutes we were in there the bathroom was occupied the whole time. So not a great dine in experience and all. Pretty stressful tbh. But for take out, this is the place. Hopefully with how busy they are they’ll expand their dining room!

I know it’s subjective, but this is up there with the best pizza I’ve ever had. They are not lying about the Buffalo chicken pizza, it’s freaking amazing and the plain is phenomenal too. The cheesesteak definitely deserves a shoutout as well. It gives most of the greatest cheesesteak places a run for their money. Kudos to you Verona! I hope to see a location closer to where I live one day.

If you’re coming from far out, just be prepared: the place is small and very busy. There are only a couple tables inside, a few outside, and a bar by the window. Not really a sit-down restaurant vibe, so you might have to wait around for a table to open up.
But let’s talk about the food. The cheesesteak was amazing. I’d put it right up there with Angelo’s, but Verona gives you more for your money. They pack a lot of steak into a big, satisfying sandwich. Definitely worth every dollar. The pizza was really good too.
If you’re looking for incredible food and don’t mind tight seating or waiting a bit, this spot is absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

The best cheesesteaks in our life. I told my husband I will never eat another cheesesteak if it’s not from veronas, even if that means the drive from Delaware! We had to eat the steak with a fork first since it was overflowing. The whole time we were there, there was a line out the door. Great customer service and fast. The pizza was also amazing!!

The cheesesteaks were super tender and juicy with perfect amount of cheese on a fresh sesame roll. It was probably the best cheesesteaks I ever had! It was definitely worth the one hour drive. The staff were super nice and the service was fast and friendly.
We also ordered a margarita pizza that was awesome, too. The crust, the fresh mozzarella, the original sweetness in sauce, everything was great.
I highly recommend and will definitely come back soon.

We loved the delicious pizza! My favorite is the funghi. My boyfriend loved the hot honey pepperoni. The little pepperoni and the whipped ricotta were perfect on that pizza. And I loved that there was lots of fresh basil. The cheesesteak was good. We love a seeded roll and well seasoned ribeye. However, the one drawback for me is that they don’t have long hot peppers! Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I’ll go to Del Rossi’s in Philly. The staff at Verona were super friendly and nice and patient with us while we figured out what we wanted. We will definitely be back! Thank you

The mushroom pizza is out of this world good. The cheesesteaks and cutlet sandwhich were also very tasty. I got my items on an extremely busy holiday and feel the quality was still top notch. And the picture speaks for itself.

Came in based on a recommendation and it was incredible. Easily the best Philly cheeseteak I’ve ever had. Immeasurable in size almost. The pack it full of rib eye and it’s tender and cheesy the way it should be. The two boys who rang us up were super kind and friendly. Gave us 2 slices of pizza on the house cause it was towards closing time (awfully generous) and we found it to be a gem of an establishment. Next time I’m in the area we’ll make a detour for it! Thanks Verona staff!
