First time dining at the range Cafe here in Los lunas. The service was great! We got seated right away. The atmosphere was warm and
Inviting. Our waitress April was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed! We ordered the Classic NM enchilada plate, the Lobo Club, and sweet potato fries will melted cheese. The food was fresh and exactly what we ordered! Very tasteful and fulfilling!

Got a gift certificate and it still was a major disappointment. Every single time we give this place a chance the food is terribly bland and/or they get our order wrong.
Ordered the shrimp pasta and green chile cheeseburger sliders.
The shrimp pasta was VERY watery with almost no flavor whatsoever.
The green chile cheese burger sliders were also flavorless and the meat only covered half of the slider on each.
After giving The Range several chances over the years (including the other locations), we will not be going back.
We can cook way better at home.
Service is okay at best.
Atmosphere is beautiful and unique but doesn’t make up for the BLAND food.

I love this restaurant! The food, service, the decor, everything! I even bought a cookbook here. The menu choices are great, the portions are generous, and you should save room for some decadent desserts. Maybe avoid the bartender/waitress person… she didn’t bite but I wouldn’t want to catch her on a bad day. ALL of the other staff were great!

A friend of mine gave me a gift card for the range because I moved to Los Lunas New mexico. We went for breakfast there yesterday and it was completely amazing! All of the food is made from scratch and I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The chicken fried steak was fresh and not frozen with it being hand battered and fried to perfection! It was one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve ever had in my life and it was topped with sausage country gravy that was amazing! Our server Eric was very friendly and eager to take care of us with anything that we requested. He is an amazing server and this is an outstanding restaurant that I highly recommend! Give it a try!

This was our first time visiting. The food was pretty good but the service from our waiter Ronnie, was absolutely exceptional. He helped navigate and recommend items on the menu and it was spot on. The nachos were huge and the cheese sauce was the best part. We had house margaritas which were pretty good and the Bloody Mary which was also good after adding some lemon and lime. Would definitely recommend giving them a try. Thanks to Ronnie we now have another restaurant to add to our rotation.

We walked in on December 5 and placed our order for drinks and then we placed our order. My friend ordered a burger. I don’t know what kind but I ordered a BCB with sweet potato fries. They were wildly busy. I don’t know why but there seem to be a problem with the kitchen the servers we’re running around crazy our server was long-black haired but very courteous very kind and apologize profusely he said there’s a delay in the kitchen. Your food is coming. We probably waited. Oh, I’d say about 40 minutes for food his came and it was hot and delicious and well prepared. Mine was the BCB burger, and it was really quite cold and the french fries were ice cold. It looked like and they tasted like they had never been cooked. I complained to the host and when we went in again a week ago, we asked to speak to the manager after about 20 minutes. We still hadn’t gotten our drinks. We had placed our order for two of the roadhouse cakes to go and place your order and after about 20 minutes of no drinks no food no apologies. We got up and left. I can probably look for the actual receipt, but we have had previously wonderful meals wonderful service. The server did apologize and said the manager was very busy. Anyway we hope to come back but boy it’s going to take a lot to keep us happy.

This is a very cool looking place. Our waitress Sandra was super nice and knowledgeable. Our party of 6 got a very wide variety of dishes and every one of us were very satisfied. The only disappointment – we most definitely didn’t have room for dessert! Maybe next time.

The Benedict eggs are ok, but I wouldn’t try them again. The rest of the dishes are really good and the portions are excellent. The ingredients feel fresh and good quality. I loved the blue corn pancake, totally worth it, and delicious.

I love the Range. I enjoy my salmon salad every time I come in. I like the carrot cake the waitress did a lovely job too. The one thing that always disappoints me though is the water is awful. You can taste softener in it or something and I wish that they would get a water filtration system in place so that I could drink a glass of water there.
