I wanted to try this place, but was little reluctant and scared, after reading the reviews about negative racist remarks. However, my personal experience was amazing.

It is a small restaurant and we couldn’t make a last minute reservation, so we took our chances. When we walked it, the server told us that we can have a table, but will need to be out in 1.5 hours. I thought it was a fair option, because we didn’t have a reservation.

We ordered:
Pad Prit Kang Moo Grob (month special) – very flavorful with a good spicy kick, but a little dry for us.
Chicken Satay – well prepared, not dry at all. Love the sauce on the side.
Going Grob – this was the highlight for me. A novelty, but also the crunch with the prawns and sauce was awesome.
Virgin Mai Thai – it was good, but a bit pricey.

I don’t have a whole lot of knowledge with Thai food, so for the ones that think that this is not authentic, I can’t comment, but if it’s SO good, do we really care if this is not authentic?

The service that I had was pretty outstanding for me, better than most restaurants that I have recently been to. My server lady was super nice and took the time to explain everything. All the other servers were very friendly to me as well.

Prices were fairly reasonable, except for the drinks. Would want to come back and try other dishes.

Tom Yum Soup and pad si ew were amazing! I was tempted to order more to-go to eat later haha. Our server, Noon, is the cutest and politest. My brother also really enjoyed his meal. Highly recommend.

The service was great! Sooo sad the August special is only for this month but I assume they are going to have great special next month as well!
The crab fried rice was amazing, its a menu you can hardly find in Thai restaurants.
The sauces that they gave for the fried rice was unique and elevated the fried rice.
The pork was cooked to perfection!

This place was a must try recommendation by friends. We were very surprised to been able to get in during a Saturday night. We started by ordering the chicken satay skewers, the drunken noodles , the Tom Kha Kai “ Chicken coconut milk” and the special Mango sticky rice as dessert.

The skewers were tender , enough for 2 people ( 2 each) and the sauce was very delicious perfect for cutting out the spice of other dishes.

The chicken coconut soup was fresh , earthy , and definetly perfect for a light dinner . It was very comforting, and no spicy at all.

The drunken noodles were bomb , though it was my partners dish and he ordered Thai spicy level, great for him but I got a headache and a bit stunned on how spicy it was ; nonetheless delicious !!! But be careful with the spice level.

The dessert was a great surprise , did not expect it since it was not on the menu. Super sweet mango and warm sticky rice.

The service was very prompt, hostess and server very friendly . Loved our interaction. I highly recommend this spot. We will be back for sure !

Went here for my moms birthday over the weekend and had an amazing time.

What we ordered:
– crispy pork belly
• not too greasy or fatty
• breading wasnt too thick 🙂

-calamari
• a little on the hard and chewy side but not complaining

– stuffed chkn wings
• nice and stuffed with filling

– drunken noodle
• (Father ordered this) really liked it but wish he ordered it spicier (not their fault)

– pad ka pao bbq duck
• duck was cooked perfectly. Not too dry or chewy
• veggies had a great crunch!

Overall the food was amazing but the service was even better. The manager was aware of my many allergies and happily answered all my questions. She seemed very sweet and genuine. She was very honest about what I could eat and could not. They were more than happy to accommodate all my dietary needs.

My whole family had a great time and we are earnest to come back soon!:)

This Thai restaurant is one of the better places serving authentic dishes. The food is always well prepared with great flavours, not overpowering, and visually appealing. Service is excellent!

We went for and early lunch on a Sunday and it was very busy.

Spring rolls are large, didn’t expect that as a lot of other places serve the little “fingerling” rolls. Very crispy and good mixture of veggies and meat on the inside.

Lettuce wrap was the favorite dish. Delicious filling, lots of fresh crisp lettuce, and the little deep fried noodles add some nice texture. It’s another large dish.

Green curry with chicken and jasmine rice. Good flavours (we ordered mild but probably could have gotten medium as it wasn’t that spicy). Good textures as the peppers were still a little crisp and the eggplant wasn’t mushy.

The food was delicious, you can really taste the different spices they use and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was amazing too! My family asked a lot of questions because we weren’t familiar with Thai Cuisine, fortunately the servers were super patient and helpful. ❤️

We should definitely visit the Thai food restaurant in Hastings. They have a long-standing presence in the area, and with the recent change in chefs, their food has significantly improved. It’s worth checking out!

Delicious! The stuff chicken wings and crispy pork was a great start to the meal. Pad Thai was flavourful and spicy! My kids love the crab fried rice, and we loved it for the uniqueness. The fatty pork noodles was amazing too. It uses wide noodles made from bean(I believe). Everything tasted fresh and the service was pleasant!

Quite possibly some of the best Thai Food I have had in the lower mainland. I had it delivered and it was still amazing, the chicken was tender, the soup was full of delicious mushrooms, the shrimp in the pad Thai melted in my mouth and the stuffed chicken wings were unreal..even after sitting in a dleivery box! I can’t speak to the venue or service, but Thank You Siam for your high quality ingredients, keep that up and you will always have my business!
