Birria tacos were very bland and had little to no cheese. I’ve also never seen Birria meat so red before?? Maybe not a problem, I was just surprised to see the meat so red. Also $17 was too much for the quality. Also the cilantro that came with it was just a bowl of…cilantro..stems?? There were like 1-2 leaves but predominantly just stems.
Quesadilla rellena was good, flavor-wise,but so liquidy.
Service was very slow but friendly.

Good food, easy access and great service. This is your every day Mexican restaurant and it’s exactly what you’re looking for. The menu is huge so tons of things to pick from. And I won’t say anything in particular stood out but everything was enjoyable. That being said, the large frozen margarita was huge and the highlight of my night. I will become a regular for this margarita alone!!

The food here was excellent!! If you like fijitas, I recommend the Hawaiian fijitas, you get a mix of shrimp, chicken and steak with pieces of pineapple!! The salsa is homemade, the queso is creamy and yummy. The fish tacos are also delicious if you like seafood. Our server was very nice and friendly!! Overall restaurant was clean, food was excellent and the service was great!!

I was visiting from out of town and I had the pleasure of dining at El Rodeo, and the experience exceeded my expectations! The food was truly delicious. The standout for me was the chicken mole, which is notoriously difficult to find done well. El Rodeo nailed it – rich, complex, and perfectly balanced. The service was attentive, friendly, and prompt, making sure our needs were met throughout the meal.
What’s more, the prices were incredibly reasonable. El Rodeo is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

Food was fine, a bit unflavored for a Mexican place. Service was not great. Waitress rolled her eyes when we asked for separate checks. Then gave one check. There were no other tables there. Place has potential but very unwelcoming.

El Rodeo is hands down the best Mexican in town. The atmosphere is always welcoming and lively. Servers are attentive and food is made hot and fresh. We have tried a few things on the menu and have yet to find something we did not like from main dishes to desserts.

Updating my review to 5 stars, because they’ve become my favorite spot! Wide open floor plan, & lots of light, beautiful accents, & decor… the staff are super sweet & helpful, & the food is perfection. So great to have real Mexican food in this tiny town. We’ve had multiple birthday celebrations there for the last couple years & it’s always amazing. Highly recommend

Not all the food we ordered is pictured. We spent around $50. I’m not sure what kind of cheese they use but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. They claim to be authentic but the cheese wasn’t any identifiable authentic Mexican cheese. The closest in flavor in my opinion is white American cheese. The tamale masa wasn’t corn, it was soft and mushy. Not sure what that was but definitely not an authentic Mexican tamale. I was disappointed. The beef burrito and the rice were the best items. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere or service since we did carry out.

The food is delicious and well cooked. But for the amount I got, they could have toned the price down a bit. Ask for light ice because I got a whole cup in my lemonade. It’s an extra 2 dollars to switch from beef to chicken. Other than that, it is good food.

Terrible food deserves 0 stars. This is not a taco nor is this nachos. I asked for everything on it….. this is a disgrace to Mexican food.
