It’s the thickest, softest steak you might ever see. The Double Musky is as good as it gets in Girdwood. (You still don’t have to dress up though, but you can …

Wonderful Cajun restaurant located on the outskirts of Girdwood Alaska. Casual tire is completely fine as everyone here is locals. Superb steaks, and Cajun dining. All appetizers were absolutely amazing. A smell a Tara had charisma and talent was able to suggest a wine that paired well with everyone’s dishes absolutely fantastic service at the end of dinner. They bring out a tray with all of their desserts and it’s hard not to have one of everything Would highly recommend if you’re in Anchorage or anywhere near Girdwood Alaska!

Cajun gem down in Gridwood. Portions are huge, staff is friendly, and the food was solid Alaskan/Louisiana fusion.

If we are in Alaska, we are stopping by Double Musky for steaks. I always get the filet, my son always gets the French Pepper Steak. Finest steak around and the jalapeno cheddar rolls are delish!
Prices have definitely gone up (as everywhere else). The only part that kinda took me aback this time was the limited (to 1) refill for soda – and the cups are not that large.
Service is always great.

I’ve visited 3 times already and I always leave happy and full! The atmosphere is unique with almost no wall or ceiling space left! Always something to look at 🙂 The service has always been great every time even though it’s been packed! The food is delicious and the dessert is always yummy and big enough to share!

If you haven’t been here you’re missing out. I’ve loved it since the 80s and it’s still the best steak I’ve ever had. Best Cajun food, best dinner rolls, best appetizers…. And while we were here at the busiest time of the year (Valentine’s Day) they dealt with the crowds and hoards with style and patience. Really wonderful staff that deserve an ovation.
The French pepper steak is amazing, highly recommend the scallop stuffed mushrooms. And you have to have the Double Musky cake or pie.

Peppercorn steak was excellent and jambalaya was very spicy. Bread and appetizers were great. We arrived 10 minutes before the Double Musky opened at 5pm, and got seated in well under 30min. After being seated, it took over an hour for appetizers to arrive. Along with slow service, the card reader has mishap and in total, we spent 2.5 hours mostly waiting.

100% worth the drive from Anchorage. We got there 30 minutes early and where 3rd in line. The food came out fast for our table size and staff where kind and helpful. The portions were big and everything on our table exceeded expectations and dessert was the cherry on top.

Fantastic restaurant with awesome decor.
The French Pepper Steak and the Steak Tips were the star of the show, highly recommended! The jambalaya and the carrot cake were also great, while the strawberry lemonade was very refreshing!
