We enjoyed our evening outdoor. Service was pleasant. Food came very fast. I tried new dish in grilled pineapple, and it was surprisingly delicious. The burrito was a little bit different serving than other Mexican restaurants. It had some sauce on top. The salad with shrimp was little but too plain. We also ordered guacamole, and it was full of tomatoes, onions, and cilantro, not too much of avocados.

Welcoming and very consistent friendly service by all the employees who served us. We got the guacamole and that was probably the top we’ve ever had, though it could have used more cilantro but that’s my preference – it was creamy and loved the chip bowl it came in. Don’t let the size fool you, it can hold a lot of guac! We got the chicken and steak fajitas – yum! The steak was a bit overcooked but I didn’t mind because that’s how I like my steak strips. The veggies were sautéed – onions were soft and bell pepper was a bit charred but still soft and still with a bit of a crisp. For dessert I recommend the Tres Leche – soooo yummy. Not overly sweet. Highly recommend coming here. Food was great and service was even better!

What an incredible find near Luray, VA! This place truly blew me away. The vibe is fantastic, and best of all, the food is unbelievably inexpensive. We had a set of three tacos, chips and guac, and two quesadillas — and it all cost just $20 total. They also have a salsa bar with a wide variety of flavorful options to choose from. If you’re looking for delicious food at an unbeatable price, this spot is a must-visit!

Rancho Viejo Mexican Grill & Cantina is a delight! The veggie fajita and combination dinners were packed with fresh, bold flavors. The jalapeno and spicy margaritas were perfectly zesty, adding a fun kick. My kids loved their cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, and the sweet pineapple juice. Don’t skip the Tres Leches Cake—it’s a heavenly treat! Highly recommend for a family-friendly, flavorful meal.

I ordered delivery. For starters the delivery was very fast. As for the food, the burrito I ordered was really good. Some people might like the salsa that come with the chips, but personally, I thought it was a little too spicy and also I think maybe it had too much cilantro in it. It just didn’t taste like other restaurants that serve salsa. I threw mine away.

It’s the real deal for Mexican food, not toned down like Taco Bell. But not quite a 5 star experience overall. Dining room was clean but restrooms were not, building needed a deep cleaning.

We are locals. Food is good. But service IS AWFUL!! The only server who is pleasant is the owner’s son. Everyone else walks around slow like they have nothing to while customers are sitting at their tables with no drinks or chips. The owner use to come in and check on the place but now he’s no where to be found so maybe he needs to come back in or talk to his servers because their attitudes ARE NOT good for a business!!

We tried the Veggie Quesadilla and Enchiladas Tacos. The dishes were decent. However, the flavors didn’t quite stand out as expected. While it wasn’t a bad experience, it left room for improvement in terms of seasoning and overall taste. A nice spot for a casual meal, but not particularly memorable.

Spacious place, with good seating and parking available.
Went in for early dinner, got chips and guac for appetizers. The guac was fresh but not smashed and mixed like I have usually seen elsewhere. For mains we got the trio dinner plate of chicken enchilada, chicken tamale and beef quesadilla with a side of rice and beans. The enchilada was good, tamale was okay, less meat and too bready. Good quantity for the price, enough for 2 people.
