Literally the best country fried steak I’ve ever had! I was in town for the total eclipse, and I just wanted some down home comfort food. This place delivers and more! The atmosphere is just so comforting and warm and perfect. They only serve country fried steak and mashed potatoes on Thursdays, but the lady made exception for me because I was only in town for a short time. She also gave me a sample of her deep fried. Catfish was absolutely amazing! This place is so worth the out of for the best comfort food I have had in years! I only regret that I didn’t get a helping of their coleslaw that was in the refrigerator because it looked delicious.I am quite sure that everything is 100% homemade do not pass by this area without going here!
Unfortunately, I was too busy completely enjoying my lunch that I forgot to take a picture of the country fried steak and mashed potatoes. You just have to take it on good authority that it’s amazing! 🙂

The food was good. Fair prices. The star of the show was the waitress. Competent friendly kind of down home attitude. We had a BLT, a Philly steak and the barbecue nachos. They brought a tenderloin instead of the BLT and promptly replaced it. I told you I would take the deal too for my husband. Did not realize until we got home that she didn’t charge me for it. Husband loved it great sandwich. Next time we’re in there I’ll have to pay for it.

We made an order for take out, we got there a little earlier than expected (even though the place wasn’t busy and the employees were just carrying on like they were just hanging out) oh well just “kids right?” Let that go and sat down to wait on our order, not only was I disrespected by the female working she also was very inappropriate with my husband. When I spoke, she ignored me. When I tried to pay, she left me standing at the register while going back and forth and joking around with the younger male employee.
She proceeded to give my husband stickers (if I could reply the demeanor in this situation I’m still shocked
There is a huge difference in being nice and how this girl acted and portrayed herself.
I was able to contain myself ( there are many others that would have set her down in her place) I should have’s I I did ask to speak to an manager but she said they weren’t in and I asked if she could contact them and she again just startes being publicly disrespected in this manner. So badly that the ONLY table with customers (husband and wife) the wife looked at me and her face said everything I was thinking myself. I have never felt so publicly disrespected in this manner. Haven’t stepped a foot in this place since. As someone who has worked in that type of restaurant setting (a small town restaurant, assuming locally owned) to dealing with people
In more of a professional setting in my opinion I don’t know how such a young girl has such little respect for not only others but also herself to behave in such a manner. She should be ashamed of herself and prior to that we came in at least 3-4 times a month. If not more here and there. I haven’t been able to step a foot in this place since. No one should have to pay just to be disrespected, your food made wrong, and just horrible customer service. Unless there are some other services being offered illegally. Not implying that, just trying to make the situation have as much light to it as possible bc it was literally the most disgusting and disrespectful as a person could get.

The food was very good and reasonable. There were only 3 younger people working and they all did a great job. We hadn’t eaten there in awhile, but will definitely be back soon!

I have ate here a few times with the delivery service! The last time I ended up having to go get my food even after I paid for delivery also it was like over an hour later!
I tried to call and talk to management but always was told there was nobody that could help me
The food was alright I guess definitely wasn’t fresh! We have gotten some decent food from there! I just assumed with it being packed all the time it would be super good but it is one of the only places to eat in town!
A few weeks ago my husband and out toddler and I stopped in after talking a walk to grab a bite! The place was empty but we got what seemed to us rude treatment! Kinda seemed the menus were tossed to us and the straws as well! Didn’t have no friendly smoke or interaction at all so we got up and left before ordering! Made us felt like we were not wanted!
I later received a message from the owner telling me that I was “wrong” and that was not how our experience went I know everybody has bad days but smile it’s addicting
