We have a family tradition to go to this restaurant every Christmas Eve. What a disaster this place has become. Think I saw maybe 3 people working. There were plenty of open tables yet we had to wait 30 minutes for anyone to even talk to us. No host. After being seated waited another 45 minutes till I finally got someone’s attention to get at least our drinks. Everyone at surrounding tables were complaining about not getting the correct food and the quality of the food to the manager. Keep in mind it’s not very busy so there is not alot of people the staff was just no where to be seen. I think the servers were cooking the food. Finally after an hour got someone attention again so we could order. She was high or something. She had no knowledge of the menu at all. Took our order but didn’t write anything down so I asked her to repeat our order back and she had a blank stair and said she doesn’t remember. We had no choice but to get up and leave. We were very patient but really over it at that point. Very disappointing. I did ask to speak to a manager and the waitress that doesn’t know the menu or how to take orders said she was the manager. Just crazy! I remember when I HOP had standards. Went to waffle house, our server was amazing and really saved the evening for us. IHOP is a disaster!!! Never again

That was rough. Waited almost 40 minutes for our food. It was a Friday night and only three tables were occupied so it’s not like it was busy. Stuff was wrong in my order too. Nice manager and nice server but geez.

No matter how much you love pancakes and I certainly do it’s just not worth it. Hour plus to wait for 4 pancakes with the restaurant basically empty is ridiculous! During the day not bad, but don’t go at night service is horrendous.

I ordered my breakfast at 08:50 approximately. There weren’t very many people in the restaurant, so I felt like I had enough time to eat. At, 09:25, I was still waiting on my food. The couple in front of me had finished eating and getting up to leave before mine was brought out. Different server than I had. My server was too busy getting her picture taken by friends that came in I guess. And worse yet, my order was wrong. I told her not to worry about it because I didn’t have time to eat now. She brought out what was missing, and I got to eat a few bites at least. And the eggs were way overcooked, like the whole plate had been microwaved. I didn’t have time to finish my meal, and was late for my appointment end the end. What ever happened to customer service?

We placed a pickup order and I waited the appropriate time before going inside to get it. Once I made it inside, there were 3 girls together ahead of me and maybe 3 tables with people. I kid you not we stood there for 10 minutes while workers stared at us and never acknowledged we were there. They then sat the girls and I waited AGAIN. Someone from the kitchen said “ ask that girl if she is here for a pickup” he comes out and I have him my name. He never comes back out. Another guy comes out a few minutes later and says someone else’s name and I said no. My name is _____. The entire 20 minutes my food sitting there and no one said anything until he did. My food was COLD and sweaty . I will not be returning . The customer service was horrible and I never leave reviews.

I can tell you they work miracles the other night. One waitress, one manager and he must have had one cook in Denham Springs. I felt sorry for the young lady waitress but she did her job well. We chipped her well. I’m surprised that place is still open atmosphere. Don’t do much for me. They’re always rushing. Even if there’s only two people in there, I don’t get it

This was an average experience overall. My over medium eggs was a bit too soft and my toast was too cold to even melt the butter. The pancakes were delicious, and the hashbrowns were crispy to perfection. However my husband’s grits were cold to the point of solidifying by the time they got to the table. We were the only diners at the time of our visit, with another couple coming in halfway through our meal. Even with so few customers, it took nearly 10 minutes for us to get our initial drinks after we ordered them. I will most likely not be going back here, unless it’s a late night craving, lol

Kayleigh was great! Full on a mid morning Sunday, she continued to stop by our table and apologize for the delay but was communicative and sweet. You can tell she is young but to be so professional and have great multitasking and customer service skills is truly rare in today’s workplace. Kudos to Kayleigh! Food was great as always!
