Unassuming from the outside, this little hidden gem offers an explosion of flavor inside! The young lady that was waiting the bar greeted us cheerfully and we were promptly sat.

We decided to go with the wild boar burger and three meatballs consisting of kangaroo, camel and antelope respectively. Everything was incredibly well seasoned and prepared expertly. The only downside was the lack of size to the burger… It definitely needed a little more heft!

The restaurant itself had a very rustic feel to it and the view of the water outside was impeccable. Overall, definitely worth a date night trip. Treat yourself and poke in sometime, it’s worth it!

First time going. Heard about it for years. I had the kangaroo burger and it was good. Nachos were good as well. Best part was the Wild Boar Eggrolls as a starter. Would definitely recommend.

April gave us amazing service! We started with the roasted thai glazed brussel sprouts. They were cooked crispy the way we love them! Then, we ordered a variety of meatballs from the meatball safari. EVERY meatball was seasoned and cooked to perfection ❤️ If you’re ever in the area I highly recommend eating here, especially if you are interested in trying unique meats.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Louisville. The service was great, the atmosphere was good, but most importantly the food was amazing. My brother and I got the frog legs to share and I got a wild boar burger and meatballs Everything was great and I will definitely be coming back. I tell everyone that they should go and they will not disappointed.

Very cool place! Smaller than I expected, but the staff was very friendly. The food was very good. Exotic items! We got to try Antelope , Camel , Kangaroo , and wild boar ! Oh and we had bone marrow. That was just the appetizer too. There were many more options as well. I settled for a lamb burger and added some homemade jalapeno jam. So good. Definitely a place to try if your near Lexington KY.

I tasted antelope, lamb and elk meatballs and had a bison burger. The chefs burger selections look good and there are a million ways to go with a create your The food is okay. Maybe I’m not used to this kind of meat, but a lot of it was dry and lacking in flavor. The one exception to that was the antelope which was really good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, but service was slow despite it not being too busy.

I really like how casual and homey the atmosphere is. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. The meats are spiced such that each option is distinct and the sauces accompanying the meats are the perfect compliment. My favorite was the rabbit meatball.

We had the bone marrow appetizer, which was really good. Both me and my dad had the elk burgers, which was a little salty but had gratefully. I had the Brussels sprouts, which was really good, and my dad had the crab biscuit can use a little less old Bay seasoning.Does it make it a little salty. The atmosphere is a good down-home country feel. Everybody , there was very friendly and everything was very well clean including the bathrooms.

Very cool experience to try different meats. We tried the Antelope, Kangaroo, Yak, and Wagyu meatballs. All had great flavor and each different in subtle ways. I learned I am not a fan of grilled Caesar salad, it was good flavors but I prefer cold salad and not warm.
