TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I’ve been seeing everyone on my socials go to Dave’s and I’m a huge spicy food lover so after a cheer competition I decided it was time to finally try it. We pull in and immediately the staff is very kind and pleasant and offering to read the entire menu since we’ve never been. We pull to the next window and food was served very fast and was very fresh and hot. If you like more sweet food this is definitely for you!! Very delicious!!!

We asked for two waters besides our actual order. One was normal, totally fine. The second one was literally pink/red. I asked politely if it was actually water, and the employee insisted it was. I even showed him the color and asked why it looked like that, and he said he had “no idea” but still claimed it was water.
I understand that sometimes the water button is next to the fruit punch and it can mix, that happens. But instead of apologizing or simply giving me a new cup, he argued with me and refused to replace it.
It’s not even about the drink at this point. It’s about the attitude and the lack of basic customer service.

If your in dublin and looking for some good and spicy chicken I recommend this Dave’s for sure as the manager and servers have always been good here with plenty of room inside and parking wise as well.

This place is great. We came during a blizzard and they were still open and greeted us warmly. The employee at the front gave us a run down of how ordering works and the portion sizes. The food itself was excellent. Great flavor and super crunchy crispy fry. The spice levels were pretty accurate. Their most spicy flavor (reaper) was hot but not inedible. It also had great flavor for how spicy it was. The place was a super interesting atmosphere and it was really clean. Great place and will definitely be back for some more chicken in the future.

My husband and I had a busy day and was very tired from traveling. We heard this place was very good and the fact they had a drive thru was better. We stopped at the drive thru. No notice was posted and it was lit up. A guy came on the speaker and said drive thru was closed. If a drive thru is going to be closed, at least have the leadership skills to post a notice and turn off your lights if it is closed. People like my husband and I who were very tired and wanted to place an order in a convenient way, was looking forward to eating at this place. Some people also dont have the ability to just come inside to place an order. My husband is unable to walk due to his leg support and the cold weather makes it difficult for him to get in and out of a vehicle. We will not be back. First impressions count and this was a very bad impression. The male staff that spoke through the speaker was rude and sounded as if it was a bother to even say it was closed. I do not care if a person can order online! The drive thru is to be used as a method of convenience. Ordering online is not.
