Excellent quality hot dogs! We had a jumbo dog and a hot link. Good vanilla shake, too. Ladies at the counter are very nice. I’d give 6 stars if only they had hand cut fries instead of potato chips!

Always a wonderful dog! Haven’t been here in a while and forgot how good they really are. Plus the “advice” from our Casper Dog Creators was a Plus!
Yes, chili cheese please, with light onions!

Best in taste and no other hot dog can beat that snap. This brick and motar still looks the same like it did in the 90’s but now the booths and seating look and feel tiny compared to when I use to bring the kids here when they were school- aged.

Fast casual/take and go.
Like the simplicity of the menu, just dogs and packaged chips since there is no fryer or grill.
The hot dogs are steaming hot. The condiments and toppings are put on for you by the sweet and friendly ladies who have been working there 20+ years!

So sad to hear that Hayward location last day is today (7/13/2024) Appreciate this place even more now even if there is a bit of a wait in line. The staff are efficient and work quickly though.

This place met my nostalgic feelings and I am so happy Caspers Hot Dogs still remains top dog in my book! At nearly $10 for a combo here, can y’all bring it back to Costco?

The place is amazing I miss Caspers being more local, but there are a few homeless wanderers that are very vocal to say the least lol

Visiting the area after dropping our son off at Cal. Thought we would try the hot dogs at Caspers. I got the 1/4lb all beef hot dog with tomatoes, musterd, relish, onions, chili, cheese and jalapeños, it did not disappoint.

Awesome! Great service, delicious dogs. Big fan of Caspers. AND they’re open late, so that’s always a positive thing. Not sure I’ve ever had a less-than-stellar experience here either. Overall, I’m a big fan. Check ‘em out!

Disappointed that there was no vegan hot dog/cheese options for people that do not want to support the animal cruelty that takes place behind closed doors against Genesis 1:29 implying God’s original intended plan was a vegan paradise like the Garden of Eden until man fell to sin disobeying the golden rule towards countless sentient beings with murder and slaughter mixed with laughter to clog your arteries, intestines, colon, bloodstream unlike the powerful & naturally plant based gorilla, elephant, horse, giraffe, rhino, bull etc.

Been coming here for over 40 years. Prices have risen to beyond my comfort level so I limit my visits to maybe once a year. Not sure how hot dog shop employees need a union. That is likely the cause of the current pricing.

Food is still good. Bun was a bit stale my last visit. Not many places still steam the dogs.

4/2023 Update: Went in today, just for old times. I was absolutely shocked to see that a Casper dog is now six dollars. I remember when these were $1.75. I almost walked out until the lady came out and asked me what I wanted to order. I didn’t want to look cheap, so I ordered one dog. It tasted great don’t get me wrong. But the pricing was literally theft.
