Ordered some take out, Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Mac and Cheese delicious.
Not a super sweet steak but a tasty alternative. The crispness was on point!
Grilled Chicken Salad and wings were amazing!
I’ve had the Prime Rib Philly before, yummm peppers and onions!
Taaasty!!! seasoned just right!
I will be going back for dinner 8-29-25

Oh yeah!
Had me a T-Bone and a Ribeye! They had a Ancho option, didn’t want it spicy tonight though.
I will be back again tomorrow night!
Oh yeah! Man this place has some of the tastiest food.
I laughed when I seen the two squirrels dressed for the upcoming season!

I stopped for after long drive. The cheeseburger and fries were very good, coupled with excellent service. I highly recommend. If I lived closer than 4+ hours away I’d definitely stop in and try the dinners and maybe have a couple drinks from the bar.

For the most part, the food was poor to OK.
I had the chicken fried steak and it seemed like it was a premade chicken fried steak from a bag. Mac and cheese seemed like typical cafeteria mac and cheese. Baked potato was OK.
My daughter’s pork chop was way over cooked. It was a struggle to even cut it since it was so dry and leathery.
My wife really did like her Ranch burger though, so maybe try that? It came well done, which is thankfully how she likes her burgers as you don’t get a choice.

We don’t usually eat out when we visit Newton and were very surprised by this restaurant. The service and atmosphere was amazing. The food was so good. Our waitress Cassie was the best and great with the kids. It reminds us of Texas Roadhouse but a thousand times better. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in town.

I had the worst Steak, id ever had at this place. I ordered the 6oz lunch Ribeye for 15 dollars. It was to be cooked medium rare. It was tough, about 1/2- 1/4 an inch thick, and well done. Will not come back.

The place has changed in a year since I’ve been there. Tables are starting to peel from some kind of vinyl finish on them. Their onion rings no longer taste as they used to in fact after eating a handful we both couldn’t eat anymore. Both of our burgers were delicious but in all fairness we have had them before so we knew they would be. The fries were also delicious even with them being overly seasoned. For both of us the lemonade was too sweet. Our server was very nice and attentive.

I’ve always enjoyed dining at Montans Mike’s. On Sunday, 9-28-25, my wife of 2 weeks and I went to Montana Mike’s. Things started off normal and pleasant, ordered our meal and waiting for it. Then the person that, I assume, is in charge of the dining area. My wife knows who this guy is, I don’t. He came over and was talking with her, he never acknowledged that I was even there. Then, as my wife was sitting in the booth, he leaned down and gave her a hug. When he left, I told my wife that I didn’t know they knew each other like that and she said they don’t. It took her by surprise and she wasn’t ok with it. Our food was taking a very long time. When we got it, we found out why. They were waiting on baked potatoes to get done and they failed. The bakes were too hard for me to eat. The waitress never came back to check on us at all. I hade to get my own to go box. Had to stand at the register a bit till someone could check us out. This visit to Montana Mike’s was our last, very disappointing in several ways.

Cozy inside but the food was actually really gross. We had mushrooms, Alfredo, chicken fried chicken, ribs, and chicken strips. The pasta was way over cooked and had little flavor. It was probably the worst item we ordered.
