Best place in years, I was working close to this location and I decided to try this restaurant, well.. my online order by mistake was submitted to other locations. When I arrived Corinne take care of me, she correct the order and offer me a sit to stay and I eat in there, I basically don’t eat the utensils because they are metals.
Best food, best treat and good price, definitely I will return with my family.
Thanks Corinne..

Came by last week to have some food and have some fun and entertainment. Boy, was i disappointed! First of all who in right mind names the restaurant ” Lucille (BB.Kings guitar) bad to the bone (song title) BBQ and has no live blues band or any kind of band for that matter playing on Fridays and Saturdays?! It is like hanging Mercedes nameplate on Yugo. It’s a JOKE! Food is mediocre and wait is long even when its not busy. I understand its a southern Florida and nobody here heard of a good blues music or decent BBQ. But owners should have thought through and at least made an effort. It is a very boring joint with mediocre interior and food. Hopefully this review would help people who expect good music and good BBq not to waste their time driving here.

Absolutely loved my brunch experiences at Lucille’s! I’ve visited twice, and each time the food was nothing short of delicious. I highly recommend checking out the items highlighted in red on the menu, aptly named “Bad To The Bone”—they truly live up to their daring name. The atmosphere at Lucille’s is just as fantastic as the food, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch. Also, do yourself a favor and try the Mac n Cheese sandwich; it’s a game changer! Whether you’re a brunch enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, Lucille’s is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Great BBQ and great service! I’ve never had a bad meal at Lucille’s and the service is top notch. I love the split pea soup and they have great salads if you don’t want a bbq platter. Highly recommend!

What a great spot! The food is delicious but what surprised me was the cocktails and how amazing creative and delicious they were! Jeremy was the manager that evening and Mary was our server, both outstanding jobs! I will be back for some holiday cheers!

Lucille’s is good for stop if you’re in the area. Food has its ups and downs and service was good.

We sampled a wide variety of food including some soups, kids meal, and the sampler platter for two.

When entering the front of the restaurant I noticed alot of cardboard boxes on a rack which took away from the ambiance, however, the staff was friendly and we were quickly seated in the near empty dining room. To be fair we were there at 4pm in the post lunch/ pre dinner lull. My daughter got a kids menu and crayons.

We ordered the split pea soup, the chili, and the Lucille’s sunshine lemonade to start. Everything was hot and fresh, and the drinks were well balanced. The one odd thing was the lemons that were put on the table for our waters were slimy… strange.

For entrees we ordered the kids hot dog (my daughter approved) and the hawg platter for two. The ribs were good, and we sampled all the sauces available, my preference was the smoky but there’s sweet, spicy, and Carolina mustard available as well. The platter came with 5 meats – 1/2 rack baby backs, 1/4 chicken dark, pulled chicken, bbq brisket (shredded), and pulled pork. It also included your choice of three sides, and two corn muffins.

Ribs and chicken were good. Pulled meats were not. Chicken was dry, brisket was a bit tough, and pork was also dry and extremely salty. Overall it can be summed up that the ribs and chicken tasted fresh and the pulled meats tasted like they had been sitting since open with little to no turn because of the lower daytime/ elderly crowd.

The portions of the sides were small relative to the amount of meat they gave you. They also left a lot to be desired. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and bland, the cream spinach comes in a metal ramekin and was an unpleasant texture. It was basically a small baked spinach dip. In hindsight I wished we tried the coleslaw and baked beans.

The meal finished with ice cream sandwiches all around which was a nice sweet treat to end the meal.

Overall the restraunt seems to be in transition and stuck in the trap of delray marketplaces downturn. Seems like they have made a pivot to cater to older clientele, with early bird specials. This seems to be the case at many places in the delray marketplace area.

After a warm welcome from our server Jenni, we were seated for what turned out to be a wonderful dinner. We both got a 1/2 rack with 2 sides and a drink. My cousin’s sides were corn and baked sweet potato. He said he loved everything. Mine were from the premium sides and I ordered Mac and Cheese and their baked, creamed spinach. My sides were outstanding.
Let’s get back to the server…
Jenni somehow knew when to check on us without being intrusive. Her attention to detail was remarkable. So if you go, yes, they have the “biggest rack in town” but the service was also fantastic.

Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I had our first visit to this restaurant, and we were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we sat down, our waitress Mary made us feel so welcome, she was amazing! Super attentive, bubbly, and kind, Mary truly made our night special and memorable.

The drinks were delicious, and the food was absolutely incredible. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Every bite was just perfect! The corn muffin with cinnamon butter was a sweet surprise, and the new mac & cheese bites with brisket and sauce were so worth it.

This restaurant did not disappoint at all. Five stars all the way, and we’ll definitely be coming back soon!
