Been here twice. I was excited to have Asian food. First impression.. I grabbed a clean plate and it was super oily/dirty on the bottom. Second impression.. food quality is pretty mediocre. It’s like Panda Express but all you can eat.
I would say if you want something quick then come here but if you are expecting crazy high quality then this is not it.

We were just passing thru Waxahachie and passed this buffet. This is one of the better buffets I’ve been to. The food looked fresh and delicious, really good quality, and with a wonderful variety. Tracy took care of me and she was awesome! I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the restrooms. I would love to come back again and I would highly recommend Asian King Buffet.

I went today May 5th 2025 to check it out and it was super nice. The value for what you pay is above any other Asian restaurants in and around Waxahachie. The food was fresh at 5pm and kept being refilled. I stuffed myself shamlessly and didn’t even get to try the sushi or the grill. I like eating at places where I can taste a little of many things and Vegetables and fruits are offered. The Banana pudding was delicious and the sweet soft serve ice cream is so good I’d pay to come just for a cone!

The food was really good, very fresh.
The only thing I is that I didn’t like how the workers were sitting down wrapping utensils and kept looking at me eat dinner with my 4 kids. They kept talking looking my way and laughing. I felt very embarrassed don’t know what they were saying but I can assure they mentioned me. And then shortly after they brought the check and resumed saying something then they would all look back again at me and laughing I’m thinking like they are rushing me I don’t know. I won’t be back I felt humiliated. The food was good and my kids enjoyed but def won’t be back for more of their humiliation.

Food tasted sub par, pretty bland, actually; kinda greasy. Ice cream had a lighter fluid aftertaste. Sunday buffet price was really not worth it. I wanted to sit at a booth, and although there were plenty open & I requested one, she ‘didn’t have any available’… never coming here again. You can find better options. -sushi was pretty good though, just not much of a selection.

I went past Sunday and the food was not good at all. No flavor and mostly raw. The fry chicken was still pink not cooked properly. The chicken nuggets that son got had raw breading on then in between. Overall not a good experience for such a high price The food was not good at all. This place place use to be so good before. Even the waitress ask why we left all the food and we showed her what was wrong with everything we had. $70 dollars of undercooked and no flavor food. Will not be returning.

So my friend with a disability and 1 leg went to eat here. With very little business and plenty of empty tables. Refused to let us sit at a table closer to the buffet because we only had 2 people in our party. To the point they were very rude and forced us to sit further away from the buffet. I will never return due to the inconsiderate workers and attitude we received from the workers. When we asked to sit at a closer table due to my friend having one leg and being disabled. The table we wanted to sit at stayed empty the whole time from the time we arrived to the time we left. It is the round empty table on the end in these photos. Shame on you Asian King. Do better…
