i rarely write reviews but wow am i astonished with giuseppe and sons! today was my first time ever coming here. we did the restaurant week special which included an appetizer, a side, a salad, a pasta, a chicken, and two mini cannolis which was all split between my party of two. as an italian who has been to some top notch italian restaurants i’d say this is some of the best italian food i’ve ever had. we were not disappointed at all! for so much food we barely had anything left over because it was just that damn good. i will most certainly be back here!!! the atmosphere is amazing as well. it reminds me of something you’d see in a movie, like some old fashion italian speakeasy. it was just overall perfect!

Dined here the day after Valentine’s Day and expected mayhem. Instead was accommodated by Amy who absolutely made our night. I am a very indecisive person but she was super patient and made sure to answer my questions and keep me laughing.
I got the pork chop parmigiana (which can be heavy depending on your preference but i absolutely loved it) and he got the oxtail agnolotti, both fantastic and I got broccoli rabe because I like some greens with my carbs lol.
Nonetheless, entire experience was fantastic and we will be back to hug Amy regularly. 🙂

Went here because the menu online listed a variety for both meat enthusiasts and vegetarians. I didn’t know in advance that they were in the basement. It’s remarkably large, given the unassuming entrance.
We enjoyed the focaccia that was brought out as we perused the menu.
Husband ordered the stuffed pork chop and I got the spicy rigatoni alla vodka. We were both delighted.
We were celebrating his birthday and got a cannoli with a sparkler. Nice touch. I ordered the limoncello cake, which was phenomenal.
The restaurant was quite dim, for our taste, but still a beautiful space.
Shout out: Matt, out server, was spectacular. I told the manager before we left that this guy had made our evening better. He advised and engaged on different menu items and helped us have a really lovely night.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through Philadelphia one evening, and it turned out to be a true hidden gem. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard of it before, especially since I go out in Philly often. The vibe was fantastic, and the cocktails were outstanding. I can’t speak to the food yet—we had dinner reservations up the street and only stopped in for drinks—but I’m definitely coming back to enjoy the full experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the restroom was spotless, and overall it was a 10/10 experience.

I decided to take my girlfriend here for her birthday as a surprise and boy oh boy this place did not disappoint ! The restaurant is gorgeous and has an incredible vibe. Great music, mood lighting, and service with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious… I got the stuff veal saltimbocca special and she got the truffle pasta. We started out with clams oreganata and the meatball appetizers and got a side of spicy rigatoni as well.
Highly recommend this place for a date night or any celebrations!

This is such a beautiful restaurant. I had such an amazing time dining here. I got the ricotta tortellini with a drink (back in ‘75). The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re in Italy . It was beautiful. Just got me more excited for my Europe trip. I will be returning for their happy hour other than that go and experience it for yourself.

I love this place. First time being here and the service from Rachel was amazing! Drinks and food were amazing. The ricotta appetizer is delicious as for the spicy rigatoni, and bolognese. The potions are amazing as well. Totally suggest this place if you want a calm, cool, fancy atmosphere!

Ok I ordered the truffle tagliatelle from the specials and honestly it was pretty average. I’ve had better pasta before and was expecting more flavor, especially if your plate is on the specials part of the menu. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurant is stunning and the service is really good, I just feel like the food could be better.

First ti.e customer, and I was blown away! It’s a busy place, but not so busy uou ever have to wait for anything. The staff is always walking around looking to get you anything uou might need and they are super friendly and helpful. But the food – it is sublime. We had the Caesar sald which was fantastic, the eggplant parm was amazing, the broccoli rabe was by far, and I mean BY FAR the best I’ve ever had, and athe chicken scarpariello was just superb. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, and agai , the food is exquisite. I think my lovely bride will agree we need to make this a monthly visit going forward. GO! You will love it!!
