All sit down restaurants especially if you are supposed to be higher character than a TGIF should have guests greeted within 60 seconds of sitting to greet them and acknowledge they sat and give them water. Busser should be doing this is waiter is busy. Neither visit did this occur. Second visit waiter was better once waitress started serving us
Food was nothing to write home about. French toast first visit was eh from memory. My friend praises the crepes. I had a taste of them. Was good but not OMG amazing. Got chicken salad croissant sandwich second visit. The greens on it i did not like flavor that is personal taste. The salad itself was dry and mayonnaise based. Likes the nuts and cranberries in it. Mac and cheese was ok. Not much cheese. Lemon bar dessert i am not certain it was made from scratch there. Could be from restaurant depot
Atmosphere is best bc it is historic old house they did not remodel at all just worked with original lay out of it including leaving the tub plumbing and all in the restroom. Music was playing in some areas that could sort of be heard in the others.
Worth a visit to decide for yourself but i would NOT say it’s one of the best cafes in area.
He was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the entire dining experience very comfortable.
The food was delicious, well prepared, and came out at a great pace.
The Yin Yang Latte features a harmonious blend of white and dark chocolate, giving it a flavor reminiscent of hot chocolate but with the perfect caffeine boost. It pairs wonderfully with any meal choice. The Crème Brûlée Latte is sweeter than anticipated because of the burnt sugar on top, but it remains delicious.
Cafe Cuban features pulled mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, coleslaw, and mustard on lightly toasted ciabatta, offering a perfect balance of flavors. The Monte Cristo combines turkey, ham, and Swiss on French toast, served with mustard, mayo, and raspberry jam, which is ideal for fans of soft toast. For dessert, the Cherry Cheesecake Crepe is filled with cheesecake cream and sweet cherries, dusted with powdered sugar, and has a delightful texture.
