My only complaint is that the filling in my gyro was half of what I have gotten at most all other Mediterranean restaurants. Only a few bits of tomato pieces, a couple slivers of onion, plenty of sauce and a few leaves of lettuce to go with the few strips and bits of meat.
It left me very much not satisfied.
Their cilantro hummus is to die for. I wish it could come with more pita.
Their chicken rice is absolutely meh. Too much things in one plate you dont know what you end up eating. The rice also a tad overcooked. The grilled chicken is amazing though.
The baklava is amazing but its hella tiny.
All in all, will definitely come back here only for the hummus.
The lemon vinaigrette is the best, and the food is fresh and tasty. The cilantro jalapeno hummus is so good.
I’m heading back to Arizona next week and I’m
already looking forward to meals at the restaurant.
No one at Pita Jungle asked me to write this review- I just want to support an excellent restaurant and the people I meet that work there.
