Absolutely disgusting and the worst restaurant experience of my life at El Pueblito. Do NOT go here!
I went in hoping for a decent lunch, but everything was a total disaster from the start. The table they sat us at was filthy! crumbs, sticky spots, you name it. The bathrooms were even worse: nasty dirty, gross, and clearly not cleaned regularly. Already off to a bad start.
Then the food arrived cold and completely bland no flavor at all, like it had been sitting out forever. But the real nightmare? I found a hair right in my food. A long, disgusting hair mixed in there. I was so grossed out and absolutely disgusted that I couldn’t even eat another bite. When I told the server about it, the service was terrible rude, dismissive, zero apology, and they did nothing to fix it. No remake, no removal from the bill, nothing. Just attitude.
This place is a health hazard waiting to happen. Between the dirty everything, cold/bland food, foreign object in the meal, and horrible customer service, I was appalled. I will never step foot in El Pueblito again, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it completely. Save yourself the nausea and money go literally anywhere else. 0/10, do not recommend under any circumstances!

I was in Caryville with my husband on a work trip and the hotel staff recommended this restaurant to us. It was WONDERFUL!! Mexican food is my favorite so it takes a lot to impress me but let me tell you, this was outstanding. The food was very authentic and taste way different than your average mexican restaurant. The salsa was amazing! We got the regular and the spicy salsa. Finding a truely authentic tasting Mexican restaurant is rare so this was a treat!!

I wasn’t expecting to find Mexican food this tasty out in the mountains of Tennessee. As if the great food wasn’t enough, the service was pleasant, our frozen boozy drinks were deliciously strong, and the prices were fair. Super happy with my decision to try this place!

My boyfriend and I were eating there tonight and everything went good as far as service and friendliness. We got our food quick as well but as we were eating my boyfriend started to mix his food up and found a full body dead cockroach in his food. We walked out and won’t be back!

What can I say. Thought I would give this place a try and it did not disappoint! The food was so good and delicious. The young waiter that waited on me was very polite, respectful and courteous. I will definitely be back!

Oh my goodness this place was fantastic! The staff is wonderful. Nice and they all speak English very very well. The food was phenomenal fresh tortillas. The salsa was amazingly fresh and delicious. Food came out fast. I had the tacos carnitas and tacos carne asada, both of which were amazing. I like the really really hot sauce and they have a house salsa that is extremely hot but unbelievably flavorful. The decor is really nice. The music isn’t too loud. Has a great ambiance to it. They serve alcohol and soda. Overall. This place is a really, really, really, really, really awesome place to come. Highly recommend!

Sucks that this is really the only Mexican restaurant around because they haven’t gotten my take out order right one single time. I ordered fajita nachos this time , which online is pictured with vegetables as well as chicken and this is what I got and keep in mind I added my own cheese from home before I thought to take a picture
