For a fast food place w reasonable prices ranging from $10 – $18, it’s very good says the Ox. Fresh and lots of good sticky Asian rice. Salad was good. Pork w cabbage was very good. The lau lau pork wrapped up in a leaf and steamed was dry, and there was a lot of fatty meat. For a quick bite and generous portions this is a very decent place. Just the seats are very hard and uncomfortable.

Very authentic plate lunch. I came here several times in the week, the food was better than the luah I attended. The atmosphere is definitely not fine dining, but that of a short order burger joint. We had Kaluah pork, and Korean BBQ everytime we ate there, although everything else we saw looked good. I got all Mac salad and had enough food for 2 meals, and no microwave rice was nice.

We tried L&L Hawaiian BBQ and had an okay experience. It felt more like a local fast-food style, order-at-the-counter, grab-and-go spot—kind of the Hawaiian equivalent of a chili takeout place back home in Ohio.
That being said, not everything landed. My french fries were stale and cold, and the pulled pork sandwich was just okay. We also tried the musubi and fried shrimp—again, fine, but nothing I’d be craving.
Overall, it wasn’t bad, just not especially memorable. If the food truck village is closed and the pizza place line is too long, it’s a decent fallback. Otherwise, it’s not a place I’d go out of my way for.

Small restaurant with generous, delicious portions. There’s a food truck park right across the street that we also tried, which allowed us to compare. The food at this restaurant is not only better but also very reasonably priced and, as I said, delicious and served in generous portions. Although it’s small and busy, we didn’t have to wait too long. Delicious Loco Moco and mix barbecue.

My, wife, and daughter ate lunch here and the food is amazing! Friendly customer service and location is a quick walk from Kaanapali hotels. Small dining are so make sure you beat the lunch rush.
