What a true hidden gem. The guy at the counter had the energy that he owned the place, and maybe he does!

I was in Newark heading to a client meeting and decided to stop by this spot. It has an old-school vibe but a great atmosphere. The place is run by an all-women team, and they recommended the Beacon Cheeseburger. I’m glad they did! The burger was cooked perfectly, as was the bacon, and the bread was just the right texture. If you’re in the area and craving a good burger, this is definitely the place to go.

Food is really good, real bread bun and fresh meat, meant to be delicious not appealing. Really good shakes, however the large is the size of McDonald’s xxl soda and is $10+. Spent $50 for 2 people, but was really good. Also they don’t wear gloves here when preparing food, but facility seems clean and employees working hard. Also the cashier manually calculates the total off the top off her head so maybe not accurate…

One the best burgers I have ever had. Pretty large burger cooked perfectly with a nice bun. The side sauces are also really good especially the all star sauce. The fries were perfectly crisp but still soft on the inside. Overall really nice staff and they made my burger quite fast as well. Definitely check this place out, they also make milkshakes and have ice cream for sale!

Coworker wanted a hole in the wall burger. Was very good and large. Ordered the Bacon cheese burger combo fry with drink was 18.50 out the door. They had many condiments out to use, and cold. Delicious food from a cozy diner style restaurant. Service was good and workers were friendly. I had the chilidog, the vanilla thickshake and the all star cheeseburger.
Portions are big for its price and the burger is classic in its taste in a way that toppings dont over power the simple beef cheese and bun combination and flavor and comes together well. The chilidog is well flavored not too salty, juicy and HUGE. Vanilla milkshake was thick and delicious and didnt just taste like sugary milk which is great.
I never finish my fries either but these were crisp and were not dry not too oily. Its a perfect place for an all american diner-style meal.

Old school burger place, needed fries and a burger. We requested extra crispy fries, we got a half tray and that was medium. The burger was ok, it was bordering on dry but had nice produce. My brother liked the chili. Service was nice.
