A unique place, but be prepared to pay for it. Anyways, quite worthy!
The way they make the fish is something you won’t see anywhere else. They make it in three steps. First, they serve the fish bones fried, then the fish meat cooked in two ways. The tapas are also amazing.
The waiters are all amazing and the place is nicely decorated.
It is definitely a place worth trying.

A superb experience, I would just increase the quality of the dessert. The raw quisquillas were to die for. The seafood is extremely fresh and well prepared, respecting and enhancing the product using the least intrusive kitchen technique, Spain excels at that. Must try the Russian salad, and any fish 3 ways.

True gem, very fresh produce and perfect techniques for having the best seafood experience. Ask for small portions and different dishes. Reccomend!

Exceptionally friendly service; passionate people who are happy to advise you about the fresh fish and a nice matching wine. The fresh fish was prepared in three ways; part baked, part fried and part sashimi (raw). Very tasteful!

Having just enjoyed a wonderful sunset Catamaran trip, we were looking for somewhere to enjoy dinner in Caleta port. It was a Tuesday and only three restaurants were open. Two, including Chinchin were busy so we initially opted for the place next door. However, experience should have told us that restaurants are quiet for a reason. In this case, a waiter who was rude beyond belief, caused us to reconsider and hope that Chinchin was able to accommodate us. Luckily, it was.

First point of praise was service. There was enough staff to ensure every table had maximum attention. All the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The restaurant is elegant but not fussy and tables are well spaced with lovely marina views.

We ordered a tapa of ensalada Rusa which was rich, creamy and delicious. Secondly, a tomato salad, that was fresh and flavourful. Both dishes wetted our appetite. Then followed the main stars of this culinary treat: the fish. We started with pulpo a la brasa, grilled octopus which was so succulent and possibly the best I have tasted. Even the accompanying side was incredible: a truffle oil infused mashed potato. Next came rapé, monkfish, cooked to perfection and finally, merluza or hake. Each fish course was served separately, all with fresh vegetables and this allowed us to both digest and enjoy.

Finally, we could not resist ordering two desserts: tiramisu and leche frita. The tiramisu was light but packed a hidden punch of coffee liqueur. However, the leche frita was simply outstanding. Despite its strange name: fried milk, this dessert is a lightly battered custard served with a crème Anglais and a light dusting of cinnamon. Words do not do justice to this taste sensation.

Our bill for four, including drinks, was a highly respectable €137. For the quality, ambiance and location it was a great experience and we will return.

Very simple pan fried, deep fried or sachimi style fish, one fish can be served in 3 different ways for full experience, squid was good also. Tuna tartare was amazing, highly recommended to take a bit of spice. There was plenty of parking in the dock parking lot. Service is amazing with a lot of attention. No sides on dishes, so order potatoes if you need some. Bread is sour dough baked locally.

We had a wonderful experience! We aren’t “fish people”, but absolutely loved the food (white seabream tree ways, red tuna tartar, anchovy tapas, salazón, torrija and tiramisu). Great service and very nice ambiance.

An unexpected experience and surprise. Casual and pleasant environment, service friendly and helpful. The varieties of seafood and varieties of preparation were truly amazing. A must for a dinner outside the routine of the Costa del Sol!
