Perkins never fails to impress me. from breakfast, to dinner, to dessert, all their food is fabulous. the hearty man’s combo is my number one go-to for breakfast. it’s SO much food for such a great price. the chicken strip melt would probably be my first choice for dinner, but they have so many other solid options too! their ranch is so yummy, some of the best. and for dessert, I recommend the peanut butter silk pie, a chocolate chip cookie or a sugar cookie! so many delicious options.

Worst meal I’ve ever had at Perkins. I used to go there with my mom all the time because it was her favorite place to eat. I don’t know what happened to the food quality, but it was inedible.

Joe likes his steak well done. The first steak pic was his first order. I sent it back, and then the second one came out, but it was not much better. They also gave him no steak knife, and I didn’t even realize it until he was already cutting up the second steak.

I ordered a lemonade to drink and I took the first sip to realize it was watered down and you could barely taste lemon at all.

I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Clearly, I got a cup instead because the guy across from us had a huge bowl compared to what I got. It didn’t matter in the end anyway because it also was watered down and tasteless.

I also ordered the meat loaf dinner with sides of fries and mashed potatoes with gravy. The gravy was so spicy that I couldn’t even eat it, which was OK then because the potatoes were like eating school paste.

The meat loaf was totally raw and totally disgusting. We left the entire meal sitting there because I sure wasn’t even feeding that crap to my dogs.

They gave us a 7 dollar discount….I shouldn’t have even paid anything at all!!!

The wait time was 50 minutes for our food and the restaurant was dead. Pancakes were burnt toast was burnt. The mashed potatoes and gravy congealed and sat under heat lamp too long. I mentioned about the potatoes and waitress said no they didn’t sit there that long and I said look at it. We will never go back. Upon checking out they never asked us how our food was how our experience was nothing just took the payment and that was it

Your average Perkins I suppose. No issues yet, except Sundays and Saturdays is generally very busy so the food might take a bit longer to come.

Our server, Ella M. was very nice, courteous, and fun to have. She made us have our dinner there as a treat. She was the first waitress in a long time that we had who never forgot any items for us, nor ignored us. She was always there, willing to help us at a moment’s notice. I highly recommend her! … Signed Pennrail.

Server Danny provided excellent customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure we had exactly what we needed to enjoy a family breakfast on Sunday morning after the Thanksgiving holiday. He was personable and proactive.

It’s good for what it is. Much like an Eat n’Park or Denny’s, it’s decent enough mostly prepackaged food. We always visit when in town because it holds a good memory but that’s about the extent of why we would eat here. The prices are crazy for the quality of food they offer. $14 for a turkey club and tater tot’s and a $4 soda is ridiculous. Our waiter was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

It’s Perkins, a franchise. The food is like all the others. It’s good here- not a bad Perkins here in Johnstown. The people here are friendly. Our waitress was Fab U Lous! She was super friendly and very attentive. We’ve visited here several times. Like it here very much.

Amazing service with awesome staff. I am happy to be a regular here me and my wife, we have tried every item seasonal or non seasonal unless it has not come out yet. Had a good laugh meeting our old friend Jodi and met her twin with the same name. We had the country fried steak and eggs meal with coffee and hot chocolate and strawberry crispers. Everything was fresh and very good, it feels good to know that winter food still fills the soul Hahah. Big ups Perkins, next time I am getting the pineapple muffin !!!.

I don’t eat out very often. We’re very picky and I usually cook better food at home for cheaper. My daughter is heading to college and wanted to go for brunch. We ate at your Johnstown Pa location today around 1130am. Just wanted to say that our food was delicious! Daughter had the blueberry pancakes and loved them. I had biscuits, sausage and gravy and pancakes. Our food was great! The pancakes were the best I’ve had in like 10 years. Wait staff was awesome too. Left a well deserved large tip. I wish I could have tipped the cook. That guy’s knows what he’s doing. We will be eating there more often. Thanks!
