Another place. Service was great, they served our group of 9 scouts quickly without any issues. Food all came out at the same time and was better than at East Coast Chinese places. The amount of food you got was also huge compared to what I am used to getting at places in the east.

China Café in Canyon City Colorado used to have quality food at a good price! Now food is very low quality, chicken is hard and chewy, fried rice was not too bad, but not much meat in it. Egg rolls, very greasy oil dripped out of them when you took a bite. I used to think they were the best restaurant around. I no longer feel they’re worth going to.

I hesitate to post about this place because the food is really good and I don’t want to have to wait for a table in the future if this place becomes really popular. The chef is top notch for a small town like Canyon City. The service is excellent as well. It is however not the cleanest but what Chinese restaurant ever is. If you like savory foods then the egg foo young is the way to go. If you like sweet Foods then try the Sesame beef with white rice. Also the ribs are delectable. They also have really good Jasmine tea.

First time visiting. We arrived 30 minutes early and they took our order anyway. We ordered to go. Waiting area was clean. Entrees and soups were packaged well in individual plastic bags. We have an hour drive home and food was still hot when we got home. Entree portions were very generous, and not just the rice. Plastic utensils, napkins, sauces and fortune cookies all included in the bag. Price point aligned with quantity and quality of food received. Will definitely return. Great job China Garden.

Service was good and restaurant was clean and comfortable. Hot & Sour soup had very little heat to it. Wonton crisp strips were ok. Servings were large for lunch plates. Chicken with vegetables had very little flavor and was mostly broccoli. Generals chicken was not spicy at all. You can see the sweet and sour sauce is also used as sauce on the chicken. Egg rolls were ok, a little greasy. The food was just ok.

Had the General Chicken with steamed rice and vegetables for lunch. Also comes with Wonton soup and egg roll. Everything was good and served hot. Good flavor, portions, and fresh veggies. No complaints and definitely will be coming back.

Ordered a bunch of items including Tofu Garlic sauce and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious. The quantity was very good. Most of us couldn’t finish and had to take to go. The food arrived super quick.

We came for lunch during the middle of the week and there was no wait to be seated. The service was great and our dishes we’re delicious with the exception of the egg rolls which tasted a bit off. Would definitely return if I am in the area again.

We always come here hungry and leave here full and satisfied!! Ivan is always good to us and our kids. The food is always hot and full of flavor. The portions for the lunch specials are huge and the prices are very reasonable. I look forward to our next visit!
