We sat outside in the Terrace which is undercover but open. Very pleasant.
Family lunch, we all ordered snitty’s, beef and chicken and they were all cooked well and tasty.

I kid you not, this is how I was served my 1x piece of grilled fish and chips tonight. It looks like a quarter of the mangled fish is missing. Everyone on the table immediately stopped and looked at my plate as soon as the waiter put it down on the table. Did the waiter maybe drop some on the way to the table or did it leave the kitchen like this?
Have a little bit more pride in what you’re serving customers. Not good enough. For those wondering – there is no salad on the plate because I asked for no salad.

Group of four of us 58 year-old mates entered the Woodville hotel on a recommendation for dinner. We had not been there before and we were greeted by Young staff member Toby. Well the minute we met this young man he made us all feel very relaxed and sat us down got us our drinks and menus and made us feel very comfortable. He took our orders and double-checked everything and delivered the food with a smile. He knew exactly how to make us feel relaxed. The meals were delicious. We had a great night and can’t thank this young man enough and upon leaving the premises he even took a photo of us together a bunch of old school mates catching up again. Well done to Toby and the Woodville Hotel.

The Woodville Hotel is our go to Pub. Overall it is a great night out but last night was a BIG letdown. The food was on point, and the service was good and the staff as always lovely but the noise level was a BIG ISSUE. We were seated in a section with about 30 or more customers. In this section as well, was our table (for 2) and another couple table (for 2). When the waiters/waitresses brought out the food , they were shouting the orders across the room. And I mean shouting……At times they were repeatedly shouting until some-one acknowledged their order, which again was hard to hear amongst the 30 odd customers chit chatting loudly amongst themselves. At one stage there were 4 waiters/waitresses shouting out at the same time. OMG!
This totally encroached on our evening and most likely the other couple. It was hard to have a conversation and we found it very intrusive of our space. We came for a quiet meal out (Being Valentines Day-I romantic meal out) and instead was disappointed and annoyed and distracted by the noise factor. If the Woodville Hotel knew there was a group of 30 or more booked in, and we were the only 2 seated table along with the other couple then perhaps we could have been seated in another section.
I think the Woodville Hotel should consider a more discreet way to call out orders, instead of bellowing out the orders across the room. Perhaps like a number system where it is recorded by person at that table eg: Table 20-seat 1, seat 2, seat 3 etc.
Hopefully, there can be changes with this so we can and other customers can enjoy their meals in peace.

Was served by this lovely girl, believe her name was Kayla. Guided us through the drinks menu, made excellent recommendations. Was fun, bubbly and all round great energy. She’s Exactly what you want from a waitress. Will be back

We enjoyed a meal here after attending a show at the Town Hall. We were late for our booking by 10 minutes, but the staff did not have an issue with this and were very professional and friendly.
The schnitzels were amazing. Very hot and very tasty and a good size portion. Would definitely recommend them.

What a hidden gem. We had a table of eight and decided to try the hotel which was brilliant. All food cooked to order, steaks exactly med-rare, chicken schnitzel tender and juicy and the barramundi delicious as the burgers, Ribs and Aranchini Balls. Thai red chicken Curry had a bite to it right to our liking.
Staff very courteous and made our evening a treat
