Had a superb experience here, staff was super friendly and helpful. Food is super fresh, oysters are one of the best I’ve had in Australia. Tuna sashimi was cut thick, texture is lean and firm, which was nice (though I prefer a fatty belly kind of cut). Fish n chips tastes great but nothing special. I prefer tuna steak raw in the middle but they cooked them through, which made it a little bit dry. The beans and asparagus were cooked nicely though. Salads are a little on the sour side, which I enjoyed because it cut through the fish quite well. Desserts were pretty good too, nothing too sweet and the chocolate mousse is actually quite rich. Overall I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice seafood restaurant in Hobart.

This was one of the three restaurants recommended by our hotel, and it was by far the best. The fish and chips were delicious — perfectly cooked, light, and flavourful. I also really enjoyed the seafood spaghetti; it was such a tasty add-on. The sticky toffee dessert was absolutely yummy too.
The staff were genuinely amazing — so friendly, patient, and welcoming. We loved it so much that we even came back again that evening and the staff all remembered us. Highly recommend!

To be fair the food deliciousness was off the chart, every flavor was subtle but great. The cooking was also on point. The portion could have been bigger in my opinions but what the restaurant packed in portion was replaced with flavors good presentation and service ! I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy the sea flavor and have a good glass for the evening.

All of the experience was as you’d expect from a table service restaurant. Our waitress was lovely (Yani?) and very attentive. Being a vegetarian it might seem counter productive to go to a seafood restaurant but the menu was easy to access before hand and I knew I had options. I had the broccolini linguini and my partner had the seafood linguini. We both enjoyed very much and would highly recommend. He had a good amount of seafood for the price. It was busy but they still managed to squeeze us a table.

Great lunch – perfectly cooked fish and a wonderful front of house team (even able to answer a random request for barber recommendations!). Diverse menu that included a range of oysters and gluten-free options.

Went for lunch today on Saturday 20/12/2025 around 2pm.
My partner and I ordered the Lunch Specials: Seafood Linguine and Chargrilled Fish of the day.
The chargrilled fish was under-cooked.
We also waited a long time for the waitress to take our order. In the end I had to intercept the waitress to take our food order. Food took a while to come (20-30minutes). Keep in mind it was around 2pm that we entered for lunch. Most of the customers around us already had their food.
There was an apology for the undercooked fish and the chef took another 20-30 minutes for the remaining half eaten fish portion to be re-cooked.
At the end I was charged the dinner price for the 2x lunch specials dishes, which meant I was over charged by more than $30-$40.
I paid $90 in cash for 2 lunch special dishes. The total should’ve been in the range of $50-$55.
Only realised the overcharged amount when I left.
Hugely disappointed with the poor untimely service, under-cooked fish and the over charged bill at the end to top off a very unpleasant dining experience. I’m sorry but it is not often I leave a bad review, but faulting over 3 separate occasions in an hour of casual dining, in my experience is not something I’ve experienced.

The food was fabulous! The grilled dishes had a wonderful charcoal aroma, and the quality of the seafood mains was outstanding. The vegetables and corn purée served alongside were also excellent. love it.
