A great location with plenty of parking. Yuan’s is very inviting and quick to seat guests. The selection is about what you’d expect but they seem to rotate some stuff in an out depending on the day which is fun. Going during a busy time like noon or 6 PM will ensure the food is getting rotated quickly. An hour or two outside of these times the quality tends to degrade slightly. But during peak times, good stuff. I particularly like the General Tso’s. The salad bar is quite basic and I’ve not liked any of the deserts in any of my visits thus far.
It’s a very clean building and staff are very courteous. My main gripe is the cost. $18+ for one adult with one soda for lunch seems steep. For the same price, Fortune Cookie is calling my name from across the street to order two meals. Again, great staff, clean building, pretty good food but it doesn’t seem like an $18+ value to me.

Per the recent report of “new management” ofc I need to give them another shot. Here’s the quick breakdown:
I tried a small scoop of each chicken including tappanyaki, orange, general tso, black pepper chicken, sweet sour chicken.
Tappanyaki tasted like soy sauce. Also cool to the touch and the texture was mushy.
General Tso was awful . I spit it out. Straight mushy and cold as well.
Black pepper chicken tasted …. Like green pepper? Also cold
Sweet & Sour Chicken was actually very good. It was moist and the batter was warm and crispy.
Char Siu chicken on stick was moist and the memorable taste of slight sweet with the savory meat was amazing. Spot On.
Hot Sour soup. . . I’m gonna be fair here and say I hate hate hate most hot sour soups. I have tried authentic and I make it myself at home for many many people. I will call myself a hot sour soup snob; that being said I actually really wanted to like it because it is my favorite soup. It has the wrong base, it’s bland and absolutely wastes the wonderful black fungus and tofus potential. A shame.
Cream cheese wontons were soooooo good. There are so many that unnecessarily fail at this simple yet addictive snack.
I did not try anything else.
Pics are of food I got and the plate of what I refused to eat after tasting.
Sorry, but to be blunt, new management should mean they intend to change for the better I’d think. If I rated this place from 5 Gordon Ramsay’s to 5 awe naws (ten total points) I’m gonna say it’s a 3 awe naw level.
When I see a sign that says “New Recipes” I’ll come back to give it the dark shepherd retry
Staff was excellent.

I heard this buffet was under new management and it shows! Food was definitely better quality in my opinion. You could tell they changed up the offerings by removing and adding items. Some buffet items were the same but were improved. I never much cared for the teppanyaki chicken previously, but it was my favorite item this time. Fried rice is much better. I spoke with the hostess up front and she was kind and welcoming. It sounds like this restaurant is in good hands. If you have had a bad experience here before I would recommend giving it another try! Best of luck to the new owners!

The food was absolutely fantastic — a huge step up from before the new owner took over. You can really taste the difference in freshness and flavor now. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they never left a single dirty plate sitting on the table.
As soon as our drinks hit the halfway mark, someone was already checking in to offer a refill. The service has become incredibly smooth and thoughtful. Overall, the place feels revitalized, and the quality is miles better than it used to be.

6/11/25 Noon. Basic, not upscale interior. Flavorful food, more than standard. Also have sushi and hibachi grill with raw shrimp as a protein. Don’t see that much anymore. Egg Drop Soup available. A combination of tables and booths. Clean tables, food area and restroom, though toilet leaks and could use a new seat. Attentive staff. Good ice tea, dark colored. A complimentary bowl of ice cream in 5 flavors. Wish I would have tried the Green Tea flavor. Shared parking. Adequate.

Very similar experience as the last review. Very solid buffet only buffet I’ve found in like 10 years that has crab bake and it’s always hot and amazing my fave option, a few of the other things can be underwhelming but not terrible, they do offer ice cream and have the fabled superman… frigging sweet! Staff are attentive and friendly

I wish you could 0 stars. We used to go here often and had great food. As of 2 months ago they are under new management. They suck and should sell and never serve food again. The hibachi is completely shut down. The buffet food is old and barely warm. I order the chicken and broccoli tonight and it tasted like the smell of rotting garbage. I sent it back and didn’t eat with my family. My husband and kids had the buffet and left hungry. We paid a small fortune to eat nasty food and leave from a buffet hungry. We will not be back. Yuck yuck dont go here unless you wanna waste your money and offend your taste buds.

The food here is genuinely good, and there are dishes I find myself craving, so I keep coming back. That said, the service could use some improvement. I respect that the restaurant hires within their community, and I understand there may be language barriers, but orders often get mixed up unless you simplify them a lot, which can be frustrating. It feels like the staff isn’t fully trained before being put on the floor, and that impacts the customer experience—especially in an area where people may not be used to communication gaps. Still, I do enjoy the food overall, and I hope the service side grows to match its quality.

Yuan’s has a small buffet that has all the “staples” you need to fill you up. There’s a decent variety and everything is fresh. They even had small egg foo young patties and gravy on the buffet, which I’m picky about, and it was really good!
It was our second visit and I’m sure we will back again when I’m the area.
