Turkey gobbler and turkey club are good and should be regular menu items. I like the gobbler a little more though because of the slight sweetness of the cranberry. The mac and cheese is pretty good for a fast food chain. However, the disappointment were the steak nuggets. They were dry. Wouldn’t get them again.

Place is very clean, lots of space and places to sit, big TVs and two very clean and well lit bathrooms (M/F). Easy parking, also has a drive thru. Ate here a few times, and everyone is nice and service is fast. Good option for a quick stop and eat. Has a nice waiting area with comfy single seats too if you just want to relax a bit more comfortably.

I came here to pick up an order for a customer. As I metered I said hello, got no response. Finally someone came up to the counter and I told them I was picking up for a delivery company. They took their time to get the order together as I waited for them to prepare it. By the time they gathered the order they demanded that I hit, Confirm Pickup” on my phone. I told her I cannot do press confirm delivery because I don’t have the order and it’s against the companies privacy policy to show the customers address without their consent. I showed her all the details of the order.,The MANAGER behind the counter went as far as trying to touch my phone until I pulled it away from her. This is not only treating customers with suspicion but also targeting and profiling delivery drivers. I asked for the number of the district manager and she refused to provide it. I told her I would be filling out multiple surveys and reviewing her restaurant for their atrocious behavior. Learn to respect people they way you would like to be treated

Worst Arby’s ever. All the meat is mushy roast beef, staff was rude, wait was forever, they didn’t have any of the new sandwiches that don’t suck, and after like a 25-minute wait, they left out part of my order and gave us no BBQ sauce. The curly fries were still curly fries, which is somewhat redeeming. Still the worst Arby’s ever.

It sounds like you had a frustrating experience at the Arby’s in Lindenhurst, NY, especially with the “free” cheesesteak promotion and the quality of the sandwich itself.
Here’s a breakdown of the issues you described, referencing common experiences and Arby’s promotions:
1. “Free” Cheesesteak Promotion Terms:
* The “catch”: You’re right to be disappointed about the hidden spending requirement. Arby’s often offers “free” items through their Rewards program or other deals, but these frequently come with a minimum purchase requirement (e.g., “free sandwich with $10 purchase”). It’s a common marketing tactic for fast food chains to drive up average order values.
* Checking terms: It’s always a good idea to thoroughly read the fine print or ask for clarification on any “free” promotion. These details are usually available on their app, website, or at the store.
2. Sandwich Quality (Lack of Meat, “Skinny”):
* Inconsistent portions: This is a common complaint across many fast-food restaurants, and Arby’s is no exception. Online reviews for Arby’s, including for the new Angus Cheesesteak, frequently mention inconsistent portions, especially regarding the amount of meat. Some reviewers specifically state that the sandwich looks nothing like the advertised picture, often being much smaller or “sloppy.”
* Cheesesteak-specific reviews: Several recent reviews for Arby’s Angus Cheesesteak mention a lack of meat, a “skinny” or “pathetic” appearance, and even a “gristle” issue. Some describe the meat consistency as more like ground beef than shaved steak, and others comment on the cheese being more of a sauce.
* Taste: While you found the taste “ok,” many others share your sentiment of having had “way better.” Some reviews note an overpowering garlic spread or a bun that falls apart easily, detracting from the overall experience.
3. Overall Arby’s Lindenhurst Reviews:
* Looking at reviews for the Lindenhurst, NY location specifically, there are several complaints about service, incorrect orders, and food quality. Issues like cold food, wrong items, and overly salty fries have been reported. This suggests that your experience with a disappointing sandwich might be part of a broader pattern of inconsistency at this particular location.
In summary:
Your experience with the Arby’s free cheesesteak promotion and the quality of the sandwich aligns with common issues reported by other customers. The “free” offer likely had a spending threshold that wasn’t clearly communicated, and the cheesesteak itself seems to suffer from inconsistent portions and quality, a sentiment echoed by many online reviews. It’s truly disappointing when a promotional item doesn’t live up to expectations, especially when you feel like you had to jump through hoops to get it.

The food was okay. The place was clean. The customer service needs improvement. I was about to tell him my order when another person came in and he skipped me to help the other guy. Then acted as if he was doing me a favor by helping me. Not once did he smile or even look in my direction. And he didn’t thank me for my order.
I can choose any place to eat but I chose to try Arby’s because a friend suggested. I will need to have a great reason to go back.

I love Arby’s so when I saw the commercial for beef nuggets I went right there. I paid 20 bucks for 9 nights that were not hot and very dry. Not a good buy.
