Lechón Latin BBQ & Bar specializes in Latin-Inspired barbecue, particularly featuring Lechón , a traditional Latin American roasted pork with a crispy exterior dish.
Still, there’s lots more to explore on our menu, with dishes blending together the cuisines from several places, including Cuba, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Peru.
Locally owned and operated Lechón Latin BBQ story began in 2020 with a simple passion for barbecue and Latin flavors.
Our mission is to combine the inspiration of our heritage and vintage techniques to create a menu in Raleigh NC that brings out high quality slow-smoked meats and the distinctive homemade flavors that comes across our entire cuisine.

Server was extremely nice but it was understaff. Had one lady taking orders, serving, and making drinks. Thats too much for one person to handle. She did great and was as quick as she could possibly be. Grace given there.
We were excited to try eating at this place. We ordered the platter fit to feed 5-6 people. It was ribs, pulled pork, fries and the mexican corn salad. The food was mediocre. We were hoping for a new flavor than just regular bbq but there was no difference in taste. The ribs were soft, maybe too soft as some bites we were getting bone mixed in bc of how brittle they were. The ribs were coated in bbq sauce so all we could taste was that. Ribs 6/10. Pull pork had very little flavor. Did not have any thing that made it stand out as Latin bbq. Both the ribs and pork were warm, but not hot. That was disappointing too. The best part was the Adobe fries. Hot and crispy. Mexican corn salad, not a big fan of it either. Would I recommend it, if you really want to try it, sure, but there are other bbq places that way better.
Oh, they did have great drink specials.

My wife and I stopped by on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The place looks amazing from the moment you walk in. After talking to the person at the counter for maybe a minute he knew exactly what to recommend. And when I tell you he read us like a book I’m not exaggerating. My wife and I were absolutely amazed by how good the food was. This is now a must visit for us from now on.

We had an amazing lunch! The food looked and tasted incredible, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pulled pork was super tender, the sausage had a great smoky taste, and the fried plantains were sweet and delicious. The tostones added a perfect crispy touch. The presentation on the black plates was really nice too, and the portions were generous. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

What a GREAT find! This food was so full of flavor and well prepared. The pork was juicy and tender and all the sides my husband and I tried were good. We especially liked the cilantro coleslaw and street corn salad. If you haven’t tried this yet, you’re missing out!

This is our first time to eat here and definitely not the last. The place is amazing. You could feel the Latin vobe from the moment you enter. The staff is very accomodating. Good thing that we went here during weekdays so there is no wait time. We ordered Lechon con Cuero and Classic Cuban. I have not eaten lechon so long and ohh the meat is so tender yet the skin is so crispy!! I like tostones so much and I’m glad the they give big size of tostones compared to others. The sauce is so great too! Will definitely come back soon!

We stopped here for lunch after walking the mall. We got the tripleta sandwich, Puerto Rican rice, beef empanadas and yuca fries. The red sauce was really good on the sandwich. The rice had pieces of meat which gave it some extra flavor. The beef empanadas were nicely made and not too oily. I love yuca fries – theirs were crispy and lightly seasoned.
I do hope they start attending to people – meaning that they have waiters/waitresses instead of going to the front to order first and then sit down. I only say this bc their food and their space makes them a sit down restaurant.

Looking for delicious food in an unexpected spot? Lechon is a hidden gem tucked inside Triangle Mall in Raleigh, serving up serious flavor that you wouldn’t expect to find in a mall setting.
I ordered the Tripleta sandwich and it completely blew me away. It’s packed with grilled, thin-sliced ribeye, juicy lechon pork, ham, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy potato sticks, and their signature KM sauce, all stacked on a hoagie bun. Every bite was loaded with flavor and yes, it was literally dripping with goodness.
While enjoying my meal, I noticed another table had plantains and immediately regretted not ordering them myself. They looked incredible.
This spot has earned a return visit from me for sure. I’m already looking forward to trying more from their menu. If you’re in the area and craving bold, satisfying Latin BBQ, Lechon is absolutely worth checking out.

This is such a hidden gem, plus, it’s family owned and operated. The entrance is on the second floor of Triangle Town Center across from Barnes and Noble. The food is AMAZING. The pulled pork was tender, and the plantains were perfect. I recommend the Cuban sandwich.

Amazing flavors! A must try if you are in the area! Daniel helped us decide what to eat and was enthusiastic about the food. The lobby and seating area were decorated nicely, clean, and spacious. The Roasted Chicken was delicious and rich, and the Cuban sandwich was an authentic rendition of a traditional recipe done very well. The adobo fries are tastey too, especially after a few Modelos. We do recommend you try it and we will be returning when in Raleigh!
