Loved it. Food was really good, made with care. We started with the Lasagna because is so simple that is usually our to go dish yo try Italian. These were truly good and I loved that the sauce was not sweet, for some reason most tomato sauces are made sweet here bit this one tasted like actual tomato and herbs. We will be definitely going back. Our waiter miss Rebecca was a dear and we enjoyed our dinner quite thoroughly. 10/10 would recommend

What a great night! Angelo’s did not disappoint!! Our server, Sean (sp? Sorry. ) really made the whole experience!! I have been in the service/ hospitality industry for 30 years, and rarely do I meet a server who truly impresses me. I told Sean I hadn’t been in to this location, or any for many years. My cousin, Delilah Reed, painted the large beautiful mural that I happened to be facing, so I told her how happy it made me to be seated where we were. She went over the whole menu, and told us about the history of a few items. She took our Order, brought everything fresh as it came out, and checked in regularly. Good service. She also spoke to us as if we were regulars or old friends. We never asked for refills, she even refilled our Crackers halfway through our salads. She held friendly conversation while clearing our table, never making it awkward. We were given extra napkins without asking. Every item that she brought to is came with an origin story or a shout out to the owners or the kitchen staff. You can tell she truly takes pride in Angelo’s, and is happy to be there. In passing I said I have to work on Valentine’s day, and she said I GET to work on Valentine’s day. That tells me all I need to know about Angelo’s. I already knew the food was amazing.

This is the BEST Italian joint in all of ICT idc what anyone says! I walk into this place normal and leave with an Italian mafia accent, it’s just so uncomfortably good!!! I’ve had several dishes over the last couple years of living here and they all SMACK. Please support this beautiful gem as they slang the best Italian in the Midwest!

I’ve been coming to Angelo’s for over 50 years. My uncle would send me all the way from Haysville to the hillside in Harry location to get pizzas and pick them up and they were worth it then and there certainly worth it now. They’re always busy but you get great service the food comes out fresh hot just like you would expect it and the prices are very reasonable. If somebody comes from out of town to visit you and you want to impress them this is where you bring them cuz this is the gold standard. Tonight I had the eggplant Parmesan and all I could eat was half of it and the Italian salad is to die for

Well worth the wait to be seated and our server Shawn was a total hoot! She kept us laughing the whole time. We did wait quite awhile for our food but it was so worth every minute we waited for that delicious food. The building was super cold, that was only thing that dampered our early valentines day dinner. Brought back so many memories of back in the day. Had been years since I had eaten there!

Food: I was in the mood for a good chicken parm. Unfortunately I didn’t get one. The chicken on both dishes was over cooked and dry. Sides were ok, garlic bread was excellent.
Service: Minimal. Our waitress came by 3 times; once to take our order, once to bring our order, and finally to bring our check. Her face lacked a friendly smile each time. I could have used a few extra napkins and a refill.
Atmosphere: Too cold, best to bring a jacket. And the hard wood chairs started getting uncomfortable around the 20 minute mark.
Conclusion: Stick to the speggheti and meatballs or pizza, take the chicken off the menu.

Service was really good. Loved the atmosphere. Food wasn’t disappointing with exception of the suggestion of potatoes with the meatballs. Olive oil and Italian seasoning on steak fries wasn’t a good combination in my opinion. Wish I would have stuck with the pasta. Garlic bread was really good

It’s difficult to find great Italian food in Wichita. I have a tomato sensitivity, so it has to be absolutely delicious to be worth the pain l’ll experience! Angelo’s is probably the best Italian restaurant in Wichita. I usually get their Manicotti/Canneloni or their baked Sicilian thighs (this doesn’t have tomatoes on it). Tonight I had the thighs with fettuccine (I typically get their broccoli, which is really good). The thighs have a nice, not too over powering lemon flavor with nicely paired italian seasoning coming through. The skins are crisp and the meat is moist. We got the Italian fries as an appetizer – this time we got mozzarella on them, which we agreed is a better choice. They come with marinara, so I asked for Ranch. My daughter said they taste better with ranch.

The Caesar salad was fresh and ample. I don’t usually do pasta as a side, so the fettuccine was a tasty shake up from my usual more healthy choice!

The wait staff was polite and attentive. We only had waters and he filled the cups when they were empty. He offered dessert and to go boxes when we finished.

Angelo’s offers several pasta dishes, several Italian dinners (e.g. Chicken Parm), salads, appetizers, desserts, and many styles of pizza. Sadly, they do not offer Chicken Picatta.

Overall, I continue to go back to Angelo’s because when I do eat a dish containing tomato, it doesn’t taste like it came out of a can. Plus their Sicilian thighs are a great option when I want to avoid the tomatos.

Their space is tight and because I do have a prosthetic leg, I have to be mindful of how I walk and aware of and anticipate people’s actions. They are popular, so expect a crowd. We usually have a small wait (5-10) but got seat immediately tonight (Thursday). We’ve gone in a Tuesday and had to wait an hour and a half. The waitress said that night was typical for a weekday. Parking is also tight. It’s in back and someone feels like people just park wherever they want. That’s not their fault, just a product of being popular and the parking lot being compact.

CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM VENTS! I was looking forward to my first visit. It was a cozy and quiet atmosphere, definitely casual. I will say, you definitely get your money’s worth here. I could only eat a quarter of my pasta bowl and the rest was leftovers. The bread is tasty, but it is completely saturated with butter to the point where you would squeeze all of it out and fill a ramekin. They don’t have much of a beer selection. If you want to split a meal it is a $3 upcharge. So a $20 bowl of pasta would feed two to three people. I will say, I’ve heard good things about the pickled eggplant that comes on the salad, and it was delicious! The service felt super rushed. Our server would barely give us a chance to say our order before walking away. Overall not bad, I would go back, but I’m not itching.
