We’ve learned while traveling to always ask the locals for the best food. We were recommended this place. The staff and food make it feel like home. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

My husband and I passed through town. While we were at the laundry mat we asked a local what was good and he recommended this place. My husband began a conversation with someone else and they also recommended it so we of course HAD TO GO. The beans were super good, the rice was alright. My husband’s burrito was so so good. The tortilla was elite and so soft. The chips and salsa verde were SUPER good. I got the Juarez plate, and it was ok, it was a very small portion of meat in the taquito and taco. It honestly just felt like I was eating a lot of lettuce on the taco. The service was ok, the cashier was polite. The server didn’t come out until a little while later she took our order and forgot a few things, but we were on a bit of a time crunch (our pet was in the car and the car was still running) The server didn’t realize she forgot and we did ask for some stuff that she did forget about. She did take it off our bill. Also the horchata was great.

Me and my girlfriend came into this place as we were passing through town. As we walked in, we were greeted by Marcos, who was a gracious host, friendly, inviting, and just an overall joy to have met. The food was phenomenon. And if you guys are looking at these reviews to figure out a place to eat you found it. This place is by far the best place we’ve stopped on our trip from California to Georgia. I recommend the supreme burrito with both meats Christmas style with the side enchiladawith the shredded brisket and a fried egg on top. Trust me you will not be disappointed this place is a gem of Albuquerque Marcos. If you read this thank you again server it was a pleasure.

Sometimes while on the road I get the opportunity to go off the beaten path and find excellent food establishments that are often passed on by my traveling brethren due to location. El Sabor De Juarez is a small family owned restaurant that met and exceeded my food cravings this morning.
Their prices are excellent and flat out better than most, portion size was “Hungry man” style and most importantly there was flavor!
I’ll be back for a late lunch before my travels end, the food quality is worth the search it took to find

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to for this place. Was looking for a great local spot and couldn’t have been more impressed. Marcos and the team are the friendliest, most attentive people, and then there’s the food… the food! It’s all amazing, but the Adovada and eggs were incredible. I really can’t recommend this spot highly enough. There’s nothing more authentic and welcoming. Drop in, sip some coffee, and enjoy the warm, genuine, local vibes. You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the best MEXICAN restaurants in all of Albuquerque , I ordered the Large Flata Plate, Tamale plate and Breakfast plate, all three were delicious, the tortilla was very good. This is a place I would recommend if you are craving authentic Mexican cuisine.. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again. You can’t go wrong with this place..

Green chile sauce was not good. Tasted like flour and had no flavor of green chile whatsoever. Red chile was little better. Portion of chile cheese fries was inadequate. I could count how many fries were on the plate. The bacon in the burrito was awful. Did not taste like real bacon. I couldnt even finish my burrito. The green salsa with chips was the best thing I had. Service was awesome though!
