We tried this healthy restaurant and thought the food was decent overall. The teriyaki chicken and avocado sauce were good, while the broccoli was a little burnt. The sweet potato noodles were great, and it was actually my first time trying them, I really enjoyed them. I would’ve loved to try their smoothies and bowls, which looked really delicious.
Also, a great perk for students: you get 25% off with a valid student ID. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a healthier option!

What a HUGE disappointment!
I ordered online and the ordering process was a nightmare only because I was trying to handle my toddler at the same time while also being forced to “sign up” to place an order . Then I get the food and they were out of everything but before calling me to tell me, i get a bowl filled with stuff I dont want. They were out of avocado, out of the black bean/chickpea, out of the vinaigrette/ their payment system was down so I couldn’t get a refund, i got nasty onion-filled guacamole on my bowl and I didn’t want that because I hate onions, haha! The quinoa was cooked so poorly it was crunchy (see pic)
I 10000000% DO NOT recommend this place and I’m bummed it cost me so much to basically throw a bowl away that I dont want. I will eat most of it because I dont waste food and I know I sound like a “karen” but this is not how a business should be run. The food doesn’t taste good either. The sweet potatoes still taste raw and crunchy quinoa is inedible. It’s poorly made. We’ll be going to playa bowls for smoothie bowls instead of here. Just bummed. The staff were nice though.
Street parking.

Ice machine spit out mold in our drinks, service was unfriendly, plates were dirty, no napkins, they will charge you a million dollars for a microscopic scoop of toppings. Hair was in the food, and nothing was up to code. One bathroom was out of order, and the other was dark due to light bulbs being out. I have never done a review for a restaurant, so you know this is bad. Sadly, I cannot come back here.

I had an amazing experience at Vale Vegan in Tallahassee! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and fresh. The menu is full of nutritious, flavorful options that make healthy eating exciting. I ordered the açaí bowl and a custom vegan bowl, and both were absolutely delicious—packed with color, texture, and taste. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. Whether you’re vegan or just looking for a wholesome meal, Vale is definitely worth the visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back—this place is a gem in Tallahassee!

Place use to be great!! Last few visit I started to see a decline in the quality of food so I gave them a break. Went there tonight first time in a few months and it was absolutely horrendous!! Had the regular size bowl and all of the items were overcooked! Added shrimp for $4.00 and they gave me only two pieces of shrimp! I honestly think the quality of food depends on the shift! Day shift food always on point evening and night shift is bad! Also these guys start cleaning and removing food way too early! It’s normal to start seeing them remove and cleaning around 8:00. Really really disappointed

Normally I avoid this place because it’s paid parking only. But I came back today. What i saw disturbed me. A middle aged white female employee was picking her teeth with her fingernails behind the counter and eating it. Didn’t even wash her hands. Then the moody guy making the food wiped his wet hands on a paper towel and folded it into a napkin and put it in a customer’s bag and sealed it. Disgusting. Their customer service skills also left much to be desired.

Another vegan/vegetarian option I enjoy is Vale. I’m in love with the sweet potato noodles. I even found them at World Market. I sike myself into believing it’s a healthier noodle. But of course, we all know that too much of anything can’t be all that good. But away, go ahead and give Vale a try.

If you’re looking to eat clean and still eat good, go to Vale. No, it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I’ve never been disappointed. If you’re not very hungry or wanting to go light a small bowl is fine, but otherwise you’re going to have to pay what you could expect to pay at a regular sit down type restaurant. Again, you get what you pay for! Great aesthetic too!

It’s incredibly unsanitary how they prepare food. The guy dropped a lemon, picks it up with his hand, and goes on to touch the food without washing his hands. Also the female worker is incredibly antagonistic and rude.
