I have been to Cinotti’s several times over the years and have never been disappointed. Living outside of JAX, I try to stop each time I am in town.
Today’s visit was to get some donuts, fritters, cinnamon rolls, bread and Christmas cookies.
Everything was excellent. This family owned business has been in JAX for 60 years and is absolutely worth the drive to come visit.
Below is some AI generated information on Cinotti’s.
Cinotti’s Bakery has been in the Jacksonville Beach area since 1964, when Joe and Phyllis Cinotti opened their first bakery there, with the current popular location on Penman Road opening in 1990, continuing a family baking tradition that started in Cleveland and moved to Jax in 1955.

I cannot recommend this place enough! A true Italian bakery w/ no room for nonsense!… I can’t understand half these reviews hating on Ms. Janet. Ive had nothing but lovely conversations w/ her as she stops by to bus tables. I picture her role as the bouncer establishing order, and maintaining the integrity of the line so honestly if you get lip from her, you probably need to self reflect on your actions ,but anyways, onto their food- their sandwiches are delightful. Great lunch time pick me up. Pictured are the croissant chicken caesar and their meatball sub on an onion roll. I also love how they use grounds of grace for their coffee.

I picked up a cake two weeks ago that completely collapsed before it was ever served. It was embarrassing to open it at a birthday dinner and find it had fallen apart. I emailed Michelle, who initially responded that she would refund and replace the cake. However, after three follow-up emails over the next nine days asking how to handle the process, I never received a reply.
I finally went into the store with my receipt and chose a simple replacement cake to deliver to the recipient. The employee took my receipt and email to Michelle, returned, and said, “that’s not what she meant.” When I asked for a refund instead, Michelle came to the counter herself, was rude and aggressive, refunded the cake, and refused to replace it.
Terrible customer service — I will not be returning. Also worth noting: the business does not allow reviews or customer posts on social media, which makes me wonder if experiences like this are more common than people realize.

I couldn’t be happier with my order! The custom cookies were absolutely beautiful—every detail was so precise and exactly what I envisioned. Not only did they look stunning, but they tasted just as amazing (soft, fresh, and full of flavor). You can really tell how much care and creativity went into making them. Communication was easy, the process was stress-free! Thank you !

Came for the first time for a special midnight donut release. Seemed to be a big deal with loyal customers and even cheerleaders. Was a fine time. Got a half dozen pumpkin doughnuts. Very good and sweet. Probably put my sugar levels through the roof. I will go back during normal business hours.

A lot of great breakfast and lunch options, along with a huge selection of cookies, donuts, pastries and cakes. We ordered 4 dozen donuts and cookies for work and everything tasted great! I would order here again.

Never will understand the hype about this place. Decided to venture into this place to grab Pastries and cookies for a Navy luncheon. Donuts were stale and not very good. The cookies were meh at best, and the additional box of baked goods were just not great. I really wanted to like this place. The pricing wasn’t great, especially for the quality of the baked goods, and honestly the flavors were just subpar. The shop itself was extremely dated, and the environment pretty much matched the quality of the food they served. Old, bland, unexciting, and just plain boring. I was very disappointed with how much we paid for the boxes of goods we purchased. Save your money and go to the French Bakery in town. At least the French Bakery has the quality that matches the price

bacon egg and cheese. Egg is preformed egg you would find on the Hampton inn breakfast. I wish they would make bread like this that I got in New Haven Connecticut at an Italian bakery. Sausage round. It was $10 and it was stuffed with sausage, hot out the oven and crispy.
