Short version: the food was fantastic. Easily the best Thai food I’ve had in Florida so far.
The red curry was excellent: rich, balanced, and full of flavor. The Chiang Mai noodles were pretty good too; the broth was especially flavorful and comforting. The massaman curry was solid, but not my favorite – a little too sweet for my taste and definitely not on the same level as the red curry.
Service deserves a shoutout. These ladies are absolute sweethearts. Attentive, friendly, smiling the whole time, even bowing in gratitude – it really adds to the experience.
Quick disclaimer: no reservations and no calling ahead. Be ready to wait at least 25 minutes. That said… it’s worth it.
We’ll definitely be back.
Both times we’ve visited, the servers have been incredibly sweet and really take the time to make sure you understand what you’re ordering. The second visit was especially cute because we reordered the same dishes we had before, and when our server started explaining them, we told her we’d had them already and absolutely loved them. Her face lit up when we said that, and she had the biggest smile.
Must tries: Khao Soi and rib appetizer. If you’re feeling adventurous, definitely try the Kanom Jeen.
I love this place so much that I already know I’ll come here every single time I’m in Fort Lauderdale. If I lived here, I’d be a regular without question.
Net was our WONDERFUL server — she was very knowledgeable about the menu & when we mentioned dietary restrictions (pescatarian, vegetarian & gluten free members) she thought of things we wouldn’t have questioned like chicken broth in the soup noodles, fish sauce, and knowing exactly which dishes are gluten free (the curries and Pad Thai are gluten free). She also checked in multiple time despite it being very busy! She specifically checked in on spice/flavor, and offered extra spicy chili oil and Thai red crushed pepper to us (highly recommend both if you like spice!). Net definitely made our experience better.
We got the papaya salad, red curry, massaman curry, Drunken Noodles, and mango sticky rice. Overall, the food is clearly authentic and my taste buds probably cater to less authentic Thai food with more salt and spice. So if wasn’t my FAVORITE Thai, but still very good (and flavor helped with extra spice on top). There are also very limited options if you’re vegetarian. The mango sticky rice was *amazing* though. I’m normally not a sticky rice fan at all, but this mango sticky rice was fabulous with somehow fresh mangoes in December and perfectly sweet rice. Highly recommend.
Overall worth a visit!
The food was **outstanding**: truly authentic, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. Service was fast and efficient, with dishes arriving quickly despite the crowd.
As someone born in Thailand who’s visited often — and lived in the U.S. for 50 years — I know real Thai food when I taste it. This is hands-down the **best Thai restaurant I’ve found in South Florida**. They offer rare dishes I’ve only seen in Thailand, many with strong **Northern and Laotian influences** you won’t find on typical menus.
The staff are all Thai, the menu uses **proper Thai pronunciation**, and the flavors transport you straight to the source. Unless you’re heading to California’s Asian districts, Vancouver, or Thailand itself, **this is as close as it gets**.
I’ll definitely be back.
Waited a little over an hour for a seat (a first for me and the Mrs) but it was well worth it!!!
Definitely recommend and will return one day soon…
First of all, this place gets full and there’s usually a short to medium wait to get a table – call them in advance if time is an issue.
Once you’re on your table, though, it’s a culinary dream. There’s your expected Thai fare: Pad Thai, drunken noodles, boat noodles, soups… And curry! All of them excellent.
Service is great and surprisingly quick. It ain’t fast food, but your main course may be ready before the appetizers.
There’s outdoor and indoor table seating, either is good, but the former is more exposed to the wind and the occasional annoying insects. Be mindful.
Oh, and this place is Michelin rated. That should speak of its quality.
This really is a must-try if you have any interest in Thai food – and if you don’t, it will make you a fan.
The food itself was tasty and of good quality, but honestly, there are at least a dozen similar restaurants in the area offering dishes that are just as good, with prices about the same. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but next time we’ll probably order delivery instead of dining in.
And one more note — if the menu says a dish is spicy, it really is spicy! ️
