I ordered Schezwan fried rice, but it was very oily and had uncooked rice. They offered me a replacement; however, when I asked if I could choose another dish, they refused and said they would only remake the same item. I agreed and requested less oil and properly cooked rice, but the replacement looked the same as the first one. I am posting two pictures—one of the first item received and one of the replacement—and there is no difference between them. I am very disappointed, and eating this food will upset my stomach.

One of the very few Indian restaurants with consistency in taste. Never had a bitter experience and except a few, most of the items we’ve tried, have always been good. One of the go-to places especially with kids.
Dabang Dosa is a good one to try if you’re a fan of dosas loaded with lots of stuffing. Gobi Manchurian tastes nice but sometimes feel like it’s made with frozen cauliflower florets.
Prices are slightly higher compared to other restaurants but worth the money.

I ordered dry Gobi Manchurian and soup, but the quantity was very less and the taste was disappointing. The food didn’t taste fresh, and the portion size was not worth the price. Not satisfied at all.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and they re-did 2 of our food items when we complained. We liked the food and taste. No complaints on it. But felt food is bit expensive. Paneer king sandwich is too huge to fit in the mouth. Dabaang dosa was too good but did not like masala pav with bhaji as it was too peppery. They re-did it after our complaint but still it was dominated by pepper. Good for vegetarians.

There is very good service and the staff are very kind. They are also very patient when we were ordering, and interact with us the customers. There food is also very good, it feels exactly how cooked you want the food to be, and they actually listen when you need a customisation. It feels so good like home. I definitely recommend this restaurant

We eat at Honest about once a month. The food is excellent! But the service is definitely lacking. They are not welcoming and usually very slow to come to the table once you’re seated. Also, if there is a problem with the food, they don’t seem to care much. I had Dahi puri that tasted like it had gone bad. They replaced it but said they served it all day and no one complained. I heard that since that happened they got a new cook. Some of the servers smile at least. Go for the food but don’t expect a server who wants to earn a good tip.

We are regular customers at honest, but our recent trip was disappointing. we saw the entire menu was filled with scribbles and replaced with price changes. I found this very unprofessional. they had wrote in pen the new prices which were $3-4 more than our previous visit!! we ordered mysore masala dosa and pav bhaji. at first look they looked great. when we opened the dosa there was only one spoon of masala in the dosa, when asked abt the quantity of masala compared to the big dosa we were told this is the normal quantity. We then proceeded to ask for more masala and received one spoon again. The pav bhaji was the same concept of cheaping out. Incredibly insane amount of bhaji with only 2 pieces of pav so as a customer you are forced to order more pav.

Tried HonesT for the first time, today. Absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is bright and clean, staff was very friendly and helped my group understand menu options. I ordered the Paneer Makhani and garlic Naan. Both were absolutely delicious. The paneer is served with rice. I sampled two of the chutneys, and they were outstanding, as well. This will be a weekly stop for me! Can’t wait to return and try more things!

Have been coming to Honest for quite a while and with their introduction of South Indian Buffet on Sunday, they have done remarkably well compared to other South Indian restaurants. The choices are just right and the food doesn’t feel greasy. They are learning to make this regular so please offer them feedback if anything can be improved.
